Tim49461ParticipantWith Rumors saying Lebron is leaving and Bosh as well where does this leave Wade?
What are some ideas that would do? Staying with the Heat would show loyality but who cares at this point. Does he try to head home to Chicago? Head to Phoenix for rehab? Take the highest offer?
What do you guys think?

mixtape2003ParticipantIf Chicago miss out on Melo, I can see him going there for the right price. I doubt it would be Chicago’s next choice to have both their back court players with bad knees.

Memphis MadnessParticipantHe should think about going to the Thunder. He could be the shooting guard they need. A third/fourth option on offense and a secondary ball handler. Thabo is gone and Jeremy Lamb can’t take over just yet.
Russell, Reggie, and D Wade would be one heck of a three guard rotation. Each guy can score, shoot, and handle the ball.
How could you stop small ball lineups of Reggie, Russell, D Wade, Durant, and Ibaka? Or a big lineup of Westbrook, Wade, Durant, Ibaka, and Adams/McGary.
D Wade is actually the guy the Thunder need. They could also use his veteran leadership.
It seems like the Thunder need another guy. D Wade could be that last piece for the Thunder.

CanadianGMParticipantHe’s not chasing championships as he already has 3. If Riley loses James and Bosh, he still signs a MAX one year contract to set them up for next years free agents. Oklahoma has a mid level to offer starting at 5.3 million. He gets 20 million from the Heat so your scenario seems like a pipe dream.

Memphis MadnessParticipantD Wade opted out. He’s no longer worth $20 million. Especially with no LeBron.
Wade can start, get his spots and shots, and make a deep run with OKC.

mike_r232ParticipantI actually was going to post about this earlier. He seems to be the man that no one is talking about in the Big 3 just because there aren’t actually teams attached to him. He doesn’t quite deserve max money as he seems to be on the decline production and health wise. I think these are his options:
Heat: This is where he will get the most money as I think the Heat would pay him for his previous service as well as try to hold on to one of their superstars. If both James and Bosh leave, however, it puts them in a tough spot. It would be hard to lure someone like Melo to replace them if it’s only Wade left.
Lakers: If they miss on Melo and the other top free agents, I could see them offering Wade for a shorter max deal (2 years maybe) to try to maximize Kobe’s years. I know they play the same position, but I think they could easily play on the floor together with Kobe guarding the 3s.
Bulls: He might be enticed to go home to Chicago. With Jimmy Butler being more of a 3, he would fit right in. They would like to have some 3 point shooting out of their SG spot, but it would be hard to pass on a player like Wade. He wouldn’t get the max here.
Phoenix: Could offer the max, but I don’t see him going here.
Dallas:…. nah

ZarathustraParticipantI don’t think so,he’s the face of the franchise for such a long time. He’s not going to do a "Karl Malone" cause he has 3 rings and who would bet 12-15 millions on his knees?I don’t see him leaving but if the big three is dismanteled…Boom ! Good luck man !

he_gets_bucketsParticipantWade isn’t leaving. If LeBron and Bosh go, Dwyane goes down with the ship

GrandmamaParticipantHe will definitely have a market. Whoever signs him has to be careful though. They have to rest him as much as possible during the regular season, and also keep his minutes low. Gotta have him as healthy as possible for the playoffs.
I definitely could see the Bulls signing him. They need a SG, the Chicago connection may play a role as well. If they miss out on Melo, it would be very interesting if they signed Wade.

FearTheStacheParticipantIf Wade goes to Chicago after Bosh and Lebron go to Houston and Cleveland respectively that would be insane. That would leave the Big 3 all leaving Miami and going home. Bosh is from Texas, Lebron’s from Ohio and Wade is from Chicago. Crazy stuff.

machu46ParticipantI can’t imagine he would leave Miami even if Bosh and LeBron left. He’d just sign on and trust in Riley to bring in some other guys.
