OldSkoolBasketballParticipant20 points in 13 minutes so far. Not going to be a good night for Camby and other bigs.

IndianaBasketballParticipantDwight was a beast tonight, but too bad Carter/Nelson/Lewis shot 10-36.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantJeezus, I think it’s best for us when Dwight plays 25-30 min and scxores 12-18 points. We win all those games, but when Dwight playsmore than 40 mins and score more than 30 points it means the rest of the team is biting the big one.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantDecember 15 is next week..Teams can start making trades then..It’s going to be interesting will the Magic finish out the season with this cast or do they have some trades coming up?

IndianaBasketballParticipantI expect the Magic to make a trade or two.

WizardofOzParticipantI hope the Magic do the Arenas-VC trade. There were plenty of rumors of this happening last week. This trade would give the Wizards huge cap relief and it would give the Magic another scorer who can create their own shot.

HitsterParticipantWashington may be so relieved to move Arenas’s huge deal that they would accept a straight up trade. VC could play SG or SF for Washington and would give them a veteran presence on the cour. No disprect to Vince but Washington would unlkely take up an $18 million option and they would have cap space to rebuild around Wall and co whilst Vince got a more manageable contract from a contending team.

mikeyvthedonParticipantHey, Dwight can score all day as long as your team wins the game. I did not get a chance to watch, but I have no doubt Dwight beasted on the Blazers. But, his supporting is super shaky and the Blazers, even with injuries, tend to have a lot of cohesion as a team. Most people would probably rate Nelson ahead of Miller, but I do not think that is the case at all as far as being an all-around basketball player. I would take Nelson to shoot from outside, but give me Miller for just about everything else. Heck, the 76ers used to give the Magic fits in the play-offs, think Andre had anything to do with that? Yes, the Lewis signing made the Magic a contender in the East, even helped them get to a Finals, but rings are the ultimate rater of a deal, and it looks like the Magic will probably have spent a lot of money with none as a result. Shard making the 2nd most money of anyone in the league is absolutely crazy. Right now, no one is even talking about him as an All-Star anymore, and he has been on the decline every year he has been in Orlando. Buyer beware obviously, but if I am a Magic fan, I better hope they make a few trades, because I do not like their odds against the better teams in the East with this squad.

ItsVictorOladipoParticipantI hope the Magic can make a trade too. I’d love it if we managed to grab Steve Nash but that’s probably a pipe dream. If the Suns start to lose a bunch of games in the next little while it might make them more willing to part with their franchise player and start rebuilding around a younger cast…I wish.
