Moon RiverParticipantAccording to CBS Sportsline, Howard is still upset that SVG is still the coach and is threatening to hold himself out of the playoffs.
Has anyone done more PR damage to themselves than this guy?

JunkYardDogParticipantLeBron sets the bar hiiiiiiiiiiigh…. but howard does one’s best… everyday.

Critically ThinkingParticipantim sure stan would be more than happy with him sitting out. Lebron did a little, tiny bit more damage today by saying winning his 3rd MVP would mean a lot to him. I think Howard deserves more blemishes on his PR resume then Lebron, but the microscope on Lebron is so magnified, and the expectations for his career are so high, that Lebrons PR decisions will always be more scrutinized than those of Dwight’s.

WälseParticipantthis is unbelievable…Howard is far worst in my opinion…Lebron’s missteps are just more magnified

Bird_YearsParticipantI would love if DeVos benched Dwight until his contract is up. Obviously won’t happen but it would be too funny to see him miss out on a year of his prime just because he was whining too much

scbe2223ParticipantAssuming SVG is fired in the offseason, would the clippers go after him?

Jack WoganParticipantToronto gave up a league worst 27.2 free throw attempts per game last season and averaged 5.8 fewer attempts than their opposition. The 3.8 points scored by their opponents from these extra free throws exceeded the difference between the Raptors 90.7 scoring average and the 94 points they allowed.

Jack WoganParticipantLowry is not a reluctant three-point threat, firing 4.5 threes per game. Bargnani and Kleiza both averaged 3.7 three-point attempts last season and Ross, Fields and the returning Anderson are all solid long range threats who are willing shooters.

Jack WoganParticipantIn just one lockout-shortened season, Coach Casey changed the culture in Toronto. Once one of the easiest teams to score and rebound against in the NBA, Casey’s Raptors rapidly evolved into a top-10 rebounding and defensive club. The next step is to build on last year’s efforts and create enough offensive punch to win some games and the changes to last season’s roster have gone a long way towards accomplishing those goals.

Jack WoganParticipantIf the Bobcats aren’t the team in the league basement this year, however, who is? Most of last year’s other ho-hum rosters improved this offseason, with Washington adding more veterans, New Jersey adding like a billion dollars’ worth of starting lineup to their payroll, New Orleans adding a Unibrow, and Sacramento bringing in a real point guard and a very talented rookie power forward.

Jack WoganParticipantBut will they be worse than the Bobcats? And where will Detroit and Sacramento and Phoenix end up in all this? With real lottery prizes like Nerlens Noel, Cody Zeller, and Shabazz Muhammad likely to declare for next year’s draft, these are questions worth asking.

Jack WoganParticipantFormer Houston Rockets center Ralph Sampson also was inducted on Friday night. Sampson was largely disappointing as a pro after winning Rookie of the Year in 1984, but was one of the greatest college players of his era. Jamaal Wilkes, the third-best player on the Showtime Lakers of the 1980s, won four NBA titles and two NCAA championships. He was also inducted this weekend in Springfield, Massachusetts.

Jack WoganParticipantHowever, going into the 2012-13 season, the question of whether or not the Thunder have improved enough to remain a championship contending team bears asking.

Jack WoganParticipantDo you think the Thunder made the right move by having a quiet offseason in comparison to their biggest competition? Do they need to make a major move, or are they going to be capable of winning it all next season? Leave your thoughts below!

Jack WoganParticipant“The media was not as big a deal for me when I was in Cleveland because they didn’t cover, or they weren’t as interested in the other guys like they are here from 1-15. You could be the 14th player on the team, and if there’s a small thing going on, on the court or off the court, it can turn into a media frenzy. So that was an adjustment that I had to make. Just understanding that, feeling that, accepting it, dealing with it throughout the course of the year.”

Jack WoganParticipantA 2009 episode of “Mad Men” titled “Love Among the Ruins” dealt with the reconstruction of New York’s Penn Station to make way for the present day Madison Square Garden with the newer version of Penn Station tucked below.

Jack WoganParticipantWe don’t know why Lin is no longer a Knick, but we do know that it doesn’t seem to make a difference to the bottom line.

NooMMMAParticipantThe team inked power forward Blake Griffin to a long-term extension, which was the franchise’s top priority, according to President Andy Roeser.
