Just saw this via ESPN that Duncan has become the 2nd oldest player to record a triple double. The only other player to do it older was Karl Malone.

Duncan recorded 14 points, 10 assists and 10 rebounds on route to Spurs win over Memphis.

Duncan is obviously an all-time great, but I can’t say enough how fortunate Duncan is playing for Pop. Pop gives him rest when he needs it and turns him loose when he needs to. Tonight was a message game to top team Memphis. No surprise the Spurs and Duncan won.

The Spurs are still the best “TEAM” in basketball , and Duncan leads the way.

 Z Bo is ineffective against the Spurs.  He actually struggled in 2011 when Tiago Splitter guarded him.  Fortunately for us Grizzlies fans, Pop put Antonio McDyess on Z Bo.  Then they had Richard Jefferson at the 3 BK (Before Kawhi).  Danny Green was actually on the roster that year but played VERY FEW playoff minutes.

So, since then we haven’t figured out the Spurs.
