Wonderin how the games is gonna shape up @ maryland tomorrow. Duke is kinda vulnerable to me rite now. As a fan im starting to realize my team isnt as invincible as i thought they were. Seth, and the plumlee bros really need to step up. Kyle singler isnt playing the player of the year type basketball hes supposed to and sometimes nolan smith presses the action too much. Also marylands big man jordan williams seems like hes primed to lead an upset. He kinda has his way against the blue devils and has played sum pretty good ball this year.

When Maryland beats Duke its no longer considered a upset. I think They can Beat duke because they tend to play well against them for the most part.

What does it say about the big east when one of there middle of the pack team blows out the ACC’s best team

I think that Maryland has a legit shot at winnning this game. Duke is vulnerable after being blown out by ST. Johns, and this is Maryland golden opportunity to swoop in for a win. Maryland’s at home too.

Maryalnd almost beat them in the last meeting, but collapsed. Maryland has always been close to beating top 10 teams this season, but always collapse late. I predict that Williams will murder Plumlee, and Maryland wins by 3.

Maryland always plays good against Duke and UNC in general so I expect nothing less then a competitive game at the very least

Ever since those Duke teams with Williams, Battier and Dunleavy played the Dixon, Blake, Baxter and Wilcox lead Maryland teams, these are games I never miss when these teams play.  I think this is one of the more underrated rivalries in college basketball.

Let me premise that I am a huge Duke fan, since the Laettner/Hill days. I feel the same way though, they have been playing subpar ball. That last game against St. John’s was embarrassing. I believe they were at one point 1-19 from beyond the 3-point line. So this game definitely makes me nervous.

@Blue Laces. I think those games shaped the rivalry today, because each star from then till now has made it a rivalry. They bring the same tenacity as those teams did.

I think this is what makes ACC basketball great. The conference rivalries are great. One that I particularly like is FSU & Duke. Duke is a perennial top 10 team, and FSU seems to have their number every year. I like the parody. This is one of my main reasons for enjoying college basketball in general.
