 Good game so far. Important game as both teams are 2-2 in Conference play. Louisville is legit. Allen is starting to get frustrated and play chippy. I half expect him to lose his cool kind of luke watching an injury prone player expecting an injury.

18 Turnovers and only 8 assists. This team is really lacking a playmaker. Frank Jackson started the season looking like he might be that guy but Tyus Jones he is not. He has struggled since the start of December once Tatum and company were returning and it has hurt his minutes. I find it odd that Jackson played only 10 minutes in the game while Matt Jones played 36.

This Duke team I expected to be deep is starting to get healthy outside of Amile Jefferson but they appear to be getting worse as their big name players get back. Perhaps this isn’t the best time for Coach K to be on medical leave especially with how tough the ACC is this year.

I can’t post the link on here but Allen had a couple more questionable plays. Sounds bad but it was pretty satisfying seeing him hit his head in the floor then get slapped by a Louisville player after Allen hooked his arm down to the ground. He’s got a huge microscope on him every play, can’t imagine how hard it has to be for him to play as instinctually dirty as he is, or he might just not give a damn.

 Getting Coach K back won’t help this team.  There is no true point on the floor for Duke and that won’t change this year.  Giles will eventually be good but he’s just not there yet.  He played a ton and got all his points off of drive and dish uncontested dunks.  Marques Bolden??  Wasn’t this guy supposed to be a lottery pick after this year??  He’s terrible.  Granted Amille Jefferson was out, but when you’re getting killed by a tall, skinny guy from Egypt who probably received one college scholarship, things are not going well for you.

Aside from Kennard, Allen was the only one scoring today. Hence the lack of assists. Since his suspension he’s had 7, 11, and 5 assists respectively.  I’d consider that a more than serviceable point guard. Bolden has been wearing a boot when he’s off the court, and isn’t 100%. 

We get you’re a Carolina fan, but at least try
