Jazz_ItalyParticipantif you can be a GM the night’s draft you choose to pick the best player available (and then look for some trade to fix your roster) or you draft the best for your necessity?
(take a look at Jazz situation: Knight seems to be the perfect fit, but if we pick kanter and then trade big al or okur for a PG, SG i will be happy too)

sacphil_08Participanti think that depends on who your best player is. for the jazz, i think your best player is probably devin harris and not big al to be honest. so i wouldnt draft knight even though everyone seems to think thats who they need, and i would draft kanter. the same way philly is trying to either trade iguodala before the draft or keep him so they know what theyre looking for come draft night. basically if your best player is say kevin durant, dont go and draft another great small forward and put a piece to go with him that you as the GM believe will mesh
