chrismcg562ParticipantCam Long, George Mason
DavId Lighty, Ohio State ( I think he can slip into the 25-30 Range)
Dwight Hardy, St. John’s (Why is he no where near mock drafts?)
Malcolm Lee, UCLA (If he comes out)
Justin Harper (First Round Potential)
Josh Selby, Kansas (Remember when everyone thought he was a Top 10 pick?)
Shelvin Mack, Butler (Moving up draft boards)
John Jenkins, Vandy (Somewhat like a Reggie Miller in college?)0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 7:51pm #514635

Scottoant93ParticipantMarshon Brooks providence
Chandler Parsons Florida
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 7:53pm #514636
chrismcg562ParticipantI like Brooks, but what about Hardy, he was 1st team All-Big East
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:00pm #514638

Scottoant93ParticipantIm actually suprised that he’s not mentioned in mock drafts, I’ve only seen him play a couple of times, but he was good. He might get drafted late in the 2nd round or go undrafted he should find a nba home though.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:02pm #514641
chrismcg562ParticipantHe’s a clutch player. In the biggest games he was the one with the ball. Good NYC point guard, could backup somewhere. Chicago?
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:05pm #514643
chrismcg562ParticipantHe is from George Mason and if he was at a bigger school, he would be in the 1st round
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:07pm #514644

Scottoant93Participantno i dont think chicago they already have rose, and watson at the point, they need sgs. maybe kings, bobcats, pacers, clips in 2nd round
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:08pm #514645
GlenTaylorSucksParticipantLeuer from WI- I bet he has like a Matt Bonner style career. He spent last summer practicing with the US team- he’s gotten much better b/w junior and senior year; I bet some team would want him to spread the floor a bit
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:11pm #514647
chrismcg562ParticipantI could see the kings, they are so bad he could probably start there in a couple of years
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:11pm #514648
nateoak10ParticipantScorers can sscore at any level, that and rebounding transfer well
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:13pm #514649

Scottoant93Participantim actually suprised some many preseason 1st rround picks slid keith benson, cj leslie, josh shelby, elias harris. Also jon leur is mocked at 24 to OKC in1st round
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:13pm #514650
chrismcg562ParticipantYa, thought about adding him to the list. He just can’t end up a bust like his dad, dennis. Remember, “the next Jordan”
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:15pm #514652
chrismcg562ParticipantHas a ton of potential. Not even close to ready though.
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 8:17pm #514653

Scottoant93ParticipantI know, On one mock draft he was listed in the 2nd round(don’t remember which one).I thought he’d be atleast first because of potential
0 - Posted on: Sun, 03/27/2011 - 9:22pm #514658

Dale WorthingtonParticipantWhy is Scotty Hopson considered a 2nd rounder?
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 3:26am #514676
chrismcg562ParticipantNo clue I think he could be a solid player in the league
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 3:47am #514677
chrismcg562ParticipantAny other thoughts people????
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 4:05am #514679

JoeWolf1I think Justin Harper will be a mid-second round pick, but he’s a skilled big man with athleticism and range so I think he’ll find a spot on a roster. I agree with him being a sleeper, but I don’t think he is going to be a frist round pick.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 4:11am #514680
chrismcg562ParticipantHe was the guy who was leading Richmond, not Kevin Anderson
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 4:34am #514684

McDunkinI dont see how this site has never talked about him.
I have mentioned his name in a few of these threads but it mostly goes ignored but Mark Payne of UC Davis is an interesting prospect
he is a 6’7" sf/sg/pg that i thought would be able to make the 2nd round due to workouts but i dont know how likely that is now that i see he was left off the portsmouth invitational roster.
For a comparison you could say he is a Chandler Parsons type all round player. except with better handles and is alot more agressive when it comes to scoring.
His numbers went down this season compared to last season when i found out about him(16 points, 4.4 assists, 4 rebounds, and shot 45.6 % from 3) but he still put up 15.4ppg on 52.2% from the field, 32.7% from 3, 81.1% from the freethrow line, 5 rpg, and 3.6 apg.
He is a great slasher with good athletic ability and his mid-range game is better than his shaky 3-point shot.

chrismcg562ParticipantSry should have put him on the original list. But that’s a great one! He could be solid, but no one knows about him so I think that he will go undrafted

0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 9:44am #514745
iminipandaParticipantIve seen Kenneth Faried all over mock draft boards but could definately see him going in the mid first round.
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 1:10pm #514800
afree15ParticipantJimmy Butler.
Definetly the biggest sleeper
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 2:32pm #514842
chrismcg562ParticipantMaybe these two could end up like a Wes Matthews type. Marquette Players seem to do well in the league
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 7:01pm #514936
OnionsParticipantAndrew Goudelock. That boy can flat out score.
Don’t think he will be drafted so pick him up out of the free agency and sign him to a min.

ZEOParticipantChandler Parsons (This years Landry Fields)
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 9:59pm #514962

GrandmamaParticipantChandler Parsons will be garbage, he has some decent skills with good athleticism but his bball IQ is lacking. What you meant to say was (This year’s Joe Alexander)…a few skills, good athleticism, 0% IQ…
0 - Posted on: Mon, 03/28/2011 - 10:34pm #514965

TRC1991Participantchandler parsons could be a lot like former gator Mike Miller at the next level
0 - Posted on: Tue, 03/29/2011 - 3:31am #514975

The8thDeadlySinParticipantParsons is nothing like Joe Alexander.. The only thing they have in common is their skin color.. Alexander was a leaper who dunked and attacked the basket.. He is a great athlete.. ZERO BBIQ!
Parson is a point/forward type player who has a nice stroke and IMO, decent IQ..

ncaaguru345ParticipantPayne is going to Portsmouth, he accepted his invitation awhile ago, he is on the team with Hardy (St. Johns) and Malcom Thomas (San Diego State). I agree, I think Payne’s game extends far beyond his numbers. I actually watched one of his games live and he blew me away how good he is with the ball, however, as we noted earlier, his team is absolutely awful. The game I went to Payne jumped for the tip-off and then went in the backcourt and got the ball to bring it up as the point. Kinda funny haha. I hope he gets drafted, its fun to watch someone so unique. We shall see though. He will need a lot of exposure this spring.
