Skeating12345ParticipantStefan Jankovic – Hawaii
He’s 6’11, can really move, has solid leaping ability for his size, and has an intriguing and versatile offensive skill set. I watched him play a few times and was impressed, but really hadn’t even thought about him as an NBA prospect (upperclassman/small school) until I stumbled upon his workout video. He’s thin and probably does not project as a great defender in the league, but he has some nice length. He had great shooting numbers across the board (54/39/77) for a Hawaii team that had a very good year last year. He averaged nearly 16 points and 7 rebounds in only about 25 minutes per game.
I think he can be a very serviceable stretch-4 off the bench for a playoff team. With his combination of size, mobility, and skill, I don’t think it’s outlandish to think he can develop into a very good role player down the road and be one of the bigger steals from this draft. Thoughts?

BleedGreen808ParticipantI hope he gets a shot in summer league either as a late 2nd rounder or undrafted free agent. He was huge for UH and without him they don’t even sniff the NCAA tournament.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantHe has a very nice skill-set for a player his size, with some pretty good post moves, an excellent touch out to the 3 point line and a decent handle. The problem is that I just don’t think he is an NBA level athlete. He is not an explosive leaper and doesn’t move that well laterally. The few times I’ve seen him play he struggled to defend in space in college so one can only imagine how he would adjust to the NBA. He doesn’t appear to have very good lower body strength and can get pushed out of position easily by stronger defenders. And you’d definitely like to see a 6-11 center in a mid-major conference average more than 6-7 rebounds per game. He is very skilled and I have little doubt he will make a nice living playing ball somewhere, but his game just seems more suited to playing overseas than the NBA.

BleedGreen808ParticipantYou’re spot on with his weaknesses. Playing overseas is where he probably ends up and I’m sure he’ll have a successful career because of his skill set.

MorseWillParticipantSheldon McClellan… Athlete who can shoot and defend a little could be a surprise
Deep sleeper- Josh Adams from Wyoming. Freak athlete who can shoot some and has good defensive instincts. Look him up if you haven’t seen him play. Hope he gets a shot in summer league to make a roster. Can’t teach that kind of athleticism

OhCanada-ParticipantRaptors brought him in with Ellenson for a workout and Jerry Stackhouse Toronto’s assistant coach said he really impressed and shocked Toronto. They brought him in likely to promise a spot on the D-League team Raps 905 but he is gaining some interest as a stretch four and I wouldn’t be shocked if he gets drafted.

JoeWolf1I feel like he has the game of an NBA role player as well. I don’t anticipate him vaulting up any draft boards, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see him on an NBA roster at some point in his career.
