elevation1013ParticipantI know everyone hates those 4 team proposals but this one is actually realistic. Toronto will get Kanter/Knight, Cleveland will get Kyrie + DWill, Detroit gets rid of Rip and picks up young pg, while Minny gets Varejao, Jonas/Biyombo at 5 + Burks at 8, and Jose to bring Rubio over. Other players are for matching salaries, except I think Cleveland would keep Rip to play the 2 if they can dump Baron to TO to make room for Kyrie/Sessions.
Raptors:
Get: #4, Webster, B Diddy
Give: #5, Calderon
Cavaliers:
Get: #2, Rip, Pekovic
Give: #4, Varejao, Davis
Pistons:
Get: Flynn, Hayward
Give: #8, Rip contract
TWolves:
Get: #5, #8, Jose, Varejao
Give: #2, Pekovic, Webster, Hayward, Flynn

del90ParticipantI don’t see Raptors taking on Davis’ contract just to move up one spot in a weak draft.

elevation1013ParticipantWell the Raps would likely much rather have Kanter or Knight than Walker or Jonas, so it’s not like there wouldn’t be an interest to move up a spot. Also Martell Webster would provide some 3-point shooting to the 2/3 positions which the Raps are desperate for after being worst in the league last year. Davis’s contract works out to $4mil more than Jose’s for the next two years. I dunno it seems like taking on $8mil total to aquire Webster and Kanter or Knight could be worth it if they really like one of them. Maybe I’m just down for this trade from their perspective cause I don’t like any of their projected options at #5.
