Which players are your major sleepers for the draft? With the college season coming up, there’s a lot of guys who can show up and surprise a lot of us.

A month ago my picks would be James Young and Wayne Selden, but with all the recent coverage they’ve been getting I think they’re becoming more exposed and their talent is being better appreciated.

I think for now I’m going to go with Joel Embiid and Andrew Harrison. I think Harrison’s become lost in all the hype other players have started receiving. I think he can solidify himself as a top ten pick this year. Embiid needs to show that he’s continued to work on his game and can come out and be a force on the defensive end with his mobility and length, while also showing an improved offensive game. I think he can be a sleeper for a top five slot by season’s end.

The Vonleh hype has almost completely died down now. I think if he has a big season for IU, he can sneak into the lottery after this year. He is still a little raw offensively, but the potential is there, and apparently he has a very good work ethic.

The 6’6 freshmnan PG at LSU is gaining some buzz down there. He is expected to start and lsu coach has been raving about his playmaking. With the success of Michael carter-williams, another lanky 6’6 PG, expect some looks for quarterman

1.Rodney Hood-Might’ve been a late 1st or early 2nd round pick this year..But he went to learn under coach K 1 of the best teachers on any level of basketball..Hood has been impressive in Duke’s preseason games…He could play himself into the lottery..

    2.Rasmus Larsen-A skilled 19 year old 7 foot center from Denmark…

3.Dakari Johnson-Willie Cauley Stein might have more upside, but DJ is the better big man right now..

4.Derek Willis-Has been a surprise..He’s a 6’9 forward that can play inside & out,has a nice touch,a good athelete an he isnt afraid of contact..

5.Johnny O’Bryant-He reminds me of Roy Hibbert in that he’s an average athlete,he doesnt seem to give a 100% effort all the time..But does a great job of making their presence felt inside,by taking up space, finding ways to score and rebounding ….
