Quick question when was the last time a champion chip team had no players drafted in the NBA ? I can think about Florida team but that’s because they all wanted to repeat. They still had NBA players though. Also I felt like Brunson and Jenkins were two of the best players on the floor how much do you see their game enhancing next year?

I don’t believe the 2011- 2012 Kentucky Wildcats had any players who were drafted. But that team was chalk full of seniors.

Ever heard of Anthony Davis? They also had Terrence Jones, Michael Kidd-Gilchrist, Doron Lamb, and Marquise Teague who got drafted

        And Darius Miller…only 6.

The answer is Duke 2010, 7 drafted or undrafted nba players in that roster tho.

        Florida 2006.

Did the Duke team with Mason Plumlee and John Scheyer have one? I think down the line, but not in the immediate year.

To my knowledge, none were drafted in 2010 but Kyle Singler, Nolan Smith, Mason Plumlee, and Ryan Kelly all eventually were drafted from that team. Lance Thomas also was on the team but went undrafted following the season. Plumlee was only a reserve on that championship team by the way as was Kelly.

Napier got drafted first round after Lebron and others caught on with his championship run hype but looking back at that last UConn team that won it now, They were absolutely void of actual NBA talent. Maybe this Nova team is the same but right now at least it looks like there’s a couple guys that could eventually make some impact in the league.

Josh Hart is only a junior as well. He plays really solid defense and is a solid complimentary offensive player as well. I could see him having a big year as a senior. He led the team in scoring with 15.5 points this year and shot over 50% from the field in the process. He was huge on the boards for an undersized team grabbing just under 7 per game.

If he improves his outsiding shooting stroke he can be a first round pick. Mikal Bridges is another Freshmen who has potential as well. He is already a defensive stopper he just needs to refine his game and get stronger but the ability appears to be there.

They are bringing in Omari Spellman to replace the size of Ochefu. If everyone comes back they will have another team capable of contending. Vegas currently has them at 8/1 to repeat which are the third best odds behind Duke and Kentucky.

Rumor around here has it they are the frontrunner to land top 25 class of 2017 guard Lonnie Walker as well. If Jay can keep bringing in top of the line 4 year players they are going to build something very special and perhaps overtake Duke and Kentucky who get top of the line one and done players.
