Honestly, I absolutely love him giving Royce props..

But that’s a bit too high. Sure, put him on the fringe of the top ten, you know? But top 5 is a reach. Royce is definitely going to surprise a lot of people though, but that all bars on where he ends up.

Honestly I don’t know what this guy is thinking with his top 5 prospects for the draft.  Keep in mind the word "prospect".  He has as follows..

1. Anthony Davis- No problems here obviously

2. Brad Beal- I know, hes going to be a very good pro. He could be good from day 1 and consistent, but I dont feel that hes at Ray Allen’s level like Doug said. I think he definitely goes 4-6 though. He should be a consistent 15-18 point scorer in the league.

3. Andre Drummond- I feel he should be 2.

4.  Harrison Barnes- No real problems here. I would have preferred to see maybe Thomas Robinson. But this is fine I guess.

5. Royce White(?!)- Honestly I feel he is a really underrated talent and if he figures out his anxiety issues.. he could be very good.  I just dont know what position he will play. Maybe hes thinned out and can play the 3.  Is he the good type of mismatch or the bad type? We will see.

 Royce above T-Rob & MKG…. Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

ESPNs mock has him going 30th and Gottlieb has him as the 5th prospect. I would say he will end up right in the middle outside the lottery in the 17-20 range. He could end up being a tremendous pro with his ball handling and passing ability but I see him more as a role player on a good team like Boris Diaw.

 

I don’t see how MKG cannot be in your top 5? I think he is number 2 based on his work ethic and the things he brings from day one, mainly being defense and rebounding at the 3 spot.
