Tonight he had 23 points, 11 boards and 8 assists , leads the NBA in 3’s made and shootts them at 40% (W’s beat denver 116-114 , Monta had 37 on over 50% shooting, Melo had 29 on 11-21.. Nene had the chance at the gamewinner and missed, it was his first miss of the night)

Averaging 16.6 and 5.7 with 3.2 assists and hes always been a solid defender.

Out of all the candidates for MIP he’s increased his PPG the most out of all of them and has started to be a consistent performer everynight . Most MIP candidates have been known players and made a decent jump this year. This is a guy who was a 10th man for Miami and has become one of the more multifacited SF’s in the NBA

He was a 10th man in Miami because he couldn’t play defense and play within the system. Golden State allows him to do whatever he wants. With that being said, he will be the MIP.

I’d say Kevin Love.  He goes from a bench player to All-Star and recording breaking.  Doesn’t get any better than that.

We are more structured then we have been in the past offensively , still fast but not gimmick Nellie ball… More like(Keith) Smart ball….. hehhe bad joke

He doesn’t fit in a slow offense like Miami as well , I think he just needed a place where he was given a chance. He came in with no other SF on the roster so he had the job all to himself. He needed some confidence

And when was Love a bench player? He was always a starter but never given the minutes he deserved , he’s gotten better but he’s not the most improved cause we knew how good he was given the time. He developed a 3 pointer though. But Wright developed a better 3, passing, defense, ball handling and rebounding. That being said Love is a great player but I just think he was always capable of this if given the time. I think them losing Jefferson really opened it up for him

I went to the Hawks came last month and they played the Warriors and Wright looked like an allstar. He played great. I think he is a good MIP candidate

I’d say Dorrell Wright is 3rd on my list.  Behind KLove and Raymond Felton.

Raymond Felton in just 5 extra minutes from last season is average 5 more points, 3 more assists.  Not only that, he’s the 2nd option on a playoff team.

That said, Dorrell Wright is one of my favorite role players.  I wouldn’t have a problem with either of those 3 winning the award.

Rose can be considered for MIP as well when you look at his improvements in just about every category.

Paul Millsap, Kevin Love, Dorrell Wright are my 3 leading candidates so far this season. If Demar Derozan continues to improve, he’s a darkhorse.

No.  He started 22 games last season.  Don’t try to BS me.

Last year, or the year that Bobby Simmons won the MIP, he probably would’ve won I think. But this season, I think Kevin Love, being the main guy on his team, will probably walk away with the award.

Don’t get me wrong though, Dorell Wright has turned into quite a player, and he’s been quite annoying against us as he’s like a volume 3 point maker, but the nod’s gonna go to Kevin Love this year ahead of Dorell.

LaMarcus Aldridge? people always doubted if he could improve from the 17 and 8 which is about where he was, look at him now.

IMO, Dorrell is the player who has truely improved the most, but having said that, he will not win MIP, as Kevin Love gets more recognition and like it was already stated, he went from bench player, to starter with limited minutes at the begining of the year to All-Star by mid season. Dorrell plays in GS, where the recognition is minimal, remember this is the same team that has found Monta Ellis averaging 25 and 5 for two straight years and still no allstar selection. You really think Dorell gets MIP with a simple 17,5,3 avg when his main competitor is averaging 21/16/3 on 44% 3 point shooting? Dorell will go unnoticed, just as Odom,Aldridge, and Monta went unnoticed for All-Stars.
