TC_42ParticipantJust an idea I like.
Some guys can’t be traded yet on the trade machine, so also add Harrington the Nets and Morrow to the Thunder. Denver would get some young talent in Green and James, 4 expiring contracts, and maybe a pick. OKC would get something great in return for Green and get that great frontcourt they need. NJ would get Melo, a promising young center, young talent in Harden, and maybe a pick. No one takes on a bad contract.

SwatLakeCityParticipantNew Jersey drafted Favors so they could have a dominating presence down low with Favors and Lopez. So what do they do, they break it up and bring in someone much weaker than Lopez, and doesn’t nearly have as much potential as him. And isn’t even proven yet? Huh? That makes no sense. And I also think the Thunder would prefer to trade Green for a starting 4, and they would rather bring in Ibaka off the bench at either the 4 or the 5.

HitsterParticipantFully agree that the Nets would not trade Lopez, Denver would probably want Alrich and any trade involving Melo and OKC where Melo didn’t land in OKC would be hard to fathom. I know that Durant plays SF but he could probably play PF or even revert to SG alongside Melo.
