BogDon_KryptParticipantThe Nets swoop in to steal Bargnani from the Kings for a 2 year veteran minimum. I think this makes the nets one of the favorites to win the East, if not the coveted Larry O’Bannon trophy. Bargnani is the most underrated big man in the game besides maybe Kendrick Perkins. He can stretch the floor and get 4-5 rebounds a game. He’s got freakish atheleticsm and a winning attitude when given the write chance. Plus the nets got rid of Deron Williams. I would like to see me playing time for Bojan Bogdanvich. Kid can straight up Bojan. I really like the direction this team is heading.

Stop_basketball_nonsenseParticipantWait, are you being serious? Do you consider the nets, who have no bench, no pg depth, or go to scorer on the wing a contender? Wow, you must expect raptors bargnani to come back.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantNot a terrible signing, considering its for the vet min. People act like bargnani sucks, but he’s actually a pretty talented and versatile offensive player when healthy. Yes, hes a serious liability on defense and he wasn’t worth the number one pick or ridiculous contract he was given, but when taken in context this isn’t a bad deal at all. He’ll provide a nice offensive punch off the bench at a cheap price, provided he can stay healthy. Of course this doesn’t make them contenders, but this is an extremely low-risk move anyway.

Memphis MadnessParticipantSounds like a Lionel Hollins kind of player. He’s soft, European, can’t defend, WON’T rebound, and shoots a ton of 3’s.

Bed HeadParticipantAnd replaced with Ettore Messina. (Yet.)
I know Hollins is pretty popular on this forum, but there’s a big difference between being "old school" and just plain old. Not saying the game has passed him by, necessarily … however, I’ve seen mummies in the Museum of Natural History who are less rigid and inflexible.
BTW, Bargnani, Brook, Thaddeus … now there’s an imposing frontline. Better, like, bring your hard hat when you face those bruisers!
