JoeWolf1Lineage gives you a lot of opportunity. I think injuries have hurt his chances to play in the NBA, but although he most likely wont get drafted, he’ll be on summer league rosters, and probably in the D-League in my opinion, at least at first, because of his dad’s connections to the NBA, but if he doesn’t make it up a year or so I bet he goes overseas.

QUINCEYwilkins making it didnt suprise me. played against him in hs and watched himn. he always had a game more suited for the nba and a high basketball iq. and he was a allamerican in hs so the talent was there. i knew ewing jr would get a shot because he is a great athlete. you always get a shot if you have that going for you…deron williams from va tech was another one who got a shot because of that

JoeWolf1I don’t see much St. Johns basketball, but I reluctantly admit I saw him on True Life a few years ago and found out he was the son of the Anthony Mason who I wached in the 90’s I followed him a bit and he was pretty average, but then again so was Ewing Jr. and Damien Wilkins and they got a shot, and Wilkins actually made it, I don’t think Mason Will, but he is good enough to get a summer league spot and a roster spot on a D-League team.

JNixonParticipantHe was good at 1st, in fact I thought he could sneak into the 1st round after watching him in his Sophomore season back then. But his athleticism is zapped if you watch him play now-a-days. He also isn’t a great shooter and he’s not all that polished in terms of his perimeter skills. He doesn’t have an NBA future, but I could see him playing overseas. He had some holes in his game that were showing promise, but the injuries he suffered brought him back to square 1.
Also, if your interested in his story you should look it up online. It was documented on MTV’s show “True Life”

RipDeuceParticipantI went to the same high school as him down in Memphis at Fairley High so i saw a lot of him…he was one of the best stand still spot up shooters ive ever seen.I watch this guy everyday continuously knock down shots in gym class without missing everyday. He is very talented i think he can make an NBA team.

redstormParticipantI don’t think most of you know what you are talking about. As shown by my name I am a big st. johns fan. Mason is a premier shooter. He had a game against pitt a couple years back where he was unstoppable. Sam young was unable to take him. In addition, this past year Mase was injured and never got back into it this year. To see what he is rly like as a ballplayer, look at his first 3 seasons for the Jonnies. That being said, with all the injury problems he has been having, I don’t see him getting drafted. He will for sure be on a summer league team this year. I think he will also be on a team for training camp. I think depending on which team he goes to, that will be the deciding factor of is he will make an nba team. To give a couple nba comparisons – danny green, chase budinger, Rashard Lewis. He would be great in a run and gun type of system like for the Knicks and the warriors. He can shoot the 3 very well as shown this year even when he was injured. His jumper is fantastic. When i saw him play against cincy, he knocked down numerous big jumpers in a row to win the game for them. He had a great coach in Norm Roberts and he is a very skilled and athletic player. If he doesn’t make it to the nba, he will have the option to play in any league in the world – he is that type of player. He will be on the same level as a guy like Jamel Thomas was. If he can put on a little muscle he will have a much stronger (no pun intended) chance at the nba
