CameronCrazy11ParticipantNow that Doc Rivers has officially become the head coach of the Clippers. What is the Clippers’ next move? I know that an Eric Bledsoe-Arron Afflalo trade has been discussed which could work out equally for both teams. Another scenario that I thought about that could happen is this. What do you think the chances are that the Clippers would trade Eric Bledsoe to New Orleans for a certain guard that Doc is very, very familiar with, his son Austin. I don’t know if I would pull the trigger on that trade if I was on either side but wanted to hear what you all thought about Austin Rivers possibly joining his dad in LA. By the way, this is pure speculation on my part and has not been rumored or reported as far as I know.

Chilbert arenasParticipantWould never happen. Austin is a 6th man shooting guard in the NBA and the Clippers already have Crawford. Afflalos contract would make me cautious if I’m the Clippers.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI guess I’m thinking down the road more since Crawford is 33. Like I said, I don’t know if I’d be willing to give up a solid back-up in Bledsoe for a mostly unproven youngster in Rivers whereas with Afflalo, you know what you’d be getting.

jhbm24ParticipantContract is not a bad contract at all.. Why would you be cautious?

Chilbert arenasParticipantYou’re right it’s not a bad contract I just hesitate with 7.5 mil all the way through 2016, I don’t know why I’ve just never been a big Afflalo fan.
