IknoBall12Participantso I was listening to all the former and present NBA players talk about Paul pierce retirement and obviously the guys are giving him a lot of respect and glowing reviews. But it got me thinking randomly about ray Allen and how specifically the Boston celtics spoke about him after he left the team. I remember the piece rondo had in which he spoke about how the guys didn’t really spend much time with Allen outside of the arena and how he mostly kept to himself. But u know rondo he took it a little further and talked about problems he had with ray. I also remember Paul pierce saying how they would attend rays events but that ray never attending their fundraisers or their events. Don’t get me wrong I can understand if people are introverted or want to spend time with their family but it’s kind of odd to me that none of allens previous teammates at any stop never really came to his defense. In the end I worry that the opinions of peoples personality will sully what’s I thought of them on the court. Does anyone else think of these things? If so tell me a player that reminds u if this

TRC1991ParticipantI live in Seattle and he obviously played for the Sonics – a lot of people have met him and each says the same thing: quiet, unfriendly, no personality.

ChrispyParticipantJosh Smith was a dick to some kids at camp in LA when I was there. Hated him ever since. My brother worked with Matt Barnes (he hates sports and had no idea who he was). Said he was the nicest guy, talked for hours about his twins (we are twins, too) and living in LA. Liked Matt ever since hearing that. I heard that Isaiah Thomas is known for just walking on to courts and shooting around with random kids who are by themselves. pretty cool for a guy who is by all means a superstar. I used to love The Kobe Stopper, Reuben Patterson, until that whole Megan’s law thing…
