thetruthParticipantin new york. we all know about players who perform well before they get their first big contract and they never live up to their contracts. now dont get me wrong i think sessions is a good player who might turn into an all-star. and judging by his stats the last couple seasons.
Year Team GP GS MPG FG% 3P% FT% RPG APG SPG BPG PPG
2007–08 Milwaukee 17 7 26.5 .436 .429 .780 3.4 7.5 1.0 .2 8.1
2008–09 Milwaukee 79 39 27.5 .445 .176 .794 3.4 5.7 1.0 .1 12.4
but anyway do you think he live up to his contract or do you think he will underachieve.0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/03/2009 - 4:02pm #195444

JNixonParticipantYea I think so. He will continue to develop and I think he has a bright future, especially in New York where the system fits him pretty good.

BasketballGuru24ParticipantHe Will do alright……Maybe better shooting percentage but nothing drastic….

RickyRubio9Participantis around 15-18 Points at the most, depending on who’s on his team, 7-10 Assists, more likely to be around 7, shooting percentages from the field will increase, but outside isnt going to be pretty and his free throw will improve.

MagikKnickParticipantIm sure he’ll do fine, he put a triple double, had a 40point game, and put up a good number of double doubles for the time he was on the court
Hes 23, still very young, and is a jumpshot away from being a legit point guard to be mentioned among some of the best, especially in the east
As a knick fan, I worry about his shooting, the knicks lead the league in 3pointers attempted last season, and Sessions only shot like 39 last season, with a 17% success rate, but like I said, hes 23…its not too late to develop one, hes younger than some of the guys that were just drafted
And a full MLE is like a little less than 6 mill, is that much to “live up to”? I mean, hes going to have to perform at a certain level but no ones expecting him to get any MVP awards…that probably sounded like a smartass comment, but its a legit question….

juves4783Participanti think he has the chance to put up similar numbers to mo williams. mad props to the bucks for their 2nd round picks over the years: redd, flip murray, gadzuric, bogans, ilyasova, williams, sessions, mbah a moute and now meeks. pretty impressive. if only their 1st rounders panned out.

0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/03/2009 - 4:56pm #195473

RickyRubio9Participantcould somehow keep their players they get.
Mo Williams at Point
Redd at the 2
Jefferson at the 3
Charlie V playing Power Forward
Bogut at the 5 Spots
Reserves – Sessions, Mbah Moute, Meeks, Joe Alexander, not to mention others0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/03/2009 - 4:59pm #195475

MagikKnickParticipantIts not official yet, but basically both sides (Sessions Agent & Donnie Walsh) are making this come down to how long the contract is…
Walsh prefers a shorter contract, Sessions would like a longer contract…

CLYDE-frazier10Participantso happy with dis deal
finally we made a move to hep in FA next year
hes ganna do rele good dis season
what was the contract
what u guys think thier line up will be like now0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/03/2009 - 5:05pm #195483

RickyRubio9Participantplayers would go to a run and gun offense that can’t win anything past the Regular Season as seen before, but maybe if their is a real superstar…It may just be crazy enough to work.

CLYDE-frazier10Participantplay cuz they have no limit on how much they shoot so that leads to having bigger stats

RickyRubio9ParticipantLeBron wants a ring, D-Wade wants a ring, Bosh laughed didn’t he?
Seriously, they got the cap space and the big stage, but bring in some good players first, a Point Guard and some solid Draft Picks have done them well. Chandler, Sessions, Hill, and the Italion Stallion are good to start with. Now resign David Lee and bring in some other decent players next summer to attract a big name. I just don’t think LeBron will believe in that system, I’d rather go the the Nets.0 - Posted on: Mon, 08/03/2009 - 5:28pm #195493

CLYDE-frazier10Participantwe might have room for 2 stars. i think the 2 stars with galo chandler and others will win a lot of games.thats the plan

bluedevils12Participanti think he will be ok. he wont be an all star or anything but he will have some productive seasons
