he’s in Miami now and he’s all about winning the NBA championship

I think LeBron should, but he would not win. I think he has not entered all these years because he is scared he will lose. He scared to lose to some average player that’s only a good dunker. The first year he could have entered, he said he had an ankle injury but I think he was using that as an excuse to not enter.
LeBron wouldn’t win because he isn’t really a flashy dunker. He’s mostly a power dunker and he’s not really creative with his dunks. I just want him to enter because i wanna see what dunks he can do.

Riley would never let the dunk contest happen with all of the money being paid out in Miami… and LeBron would be scared to lose knowing that everyone was rooting against him.

Yeah if he didn’t do it this year because his focus was winning the title, I can’t imagine him doing it now. Dunk contests are a young man’s game, a guy who has been in the League as long as him would look foolish entering now (see: Gerald Wallace). Besides, with the amount of props and crazy expectations, the dunks don’t mean anything in-game anymore.

no way should lebron enter the dunk contest..
after his decision to leave cleveland and doing it on live tv!!!
so many people are now looking at him as a guy that has a huge ego..and the dunk contest if he entered would be spotlighted on him…
his main focus should be on winning a ring next year..after he does that he’ll retain some of the respect he lost after making his choice

4 bron to join the dunk contest. i think he could possibly win some fans back by deciding to get into it. now i dont think he WILL do it but itd be a good career move in my opinion

I have a hypothesis as to why lebron has never entered a dunk contest. if you look at footage of him dunking from his earlier years in the league, you will notice that he never takes off two feet. He always goes off one and that limits the kind of dunks you can do. It’s only over the last two seasons that I’ve seen him take off two feet once in a while, but he still isn’t creative enough. what do you guys think?

He usually dunks off one leg because he is always going full speed and taking off running. 2 leg dunks require a stop and gather whchis hard to do going full speed. But, he can definitely jump of 2 also. His dunk on damon jones was nasty and that was off 2 legs ad he caught a pass as a trailer so he got an opportunity to gather and take off.
