Meditated StatesParticipantThe Lakers only got 2 assist out of the point guard slot today. I know they run the triangle, but do they need more assist out of the PG position? I also notice they have trouble stopping othe PG’s from scoring. Their bench is a little weak too. They should come out the west despite these things, but do they need a trade?

llpereznah, farmar had like 17 tonight. The whole team is struggling defensively, not just the pg position. They need to pick it up defensively, but give toronto credit for making plays. At the end of the day though, lakers led the enitre game and lost the lead with 1.2 seconds remaining, not somehting that makes me think trade.

Bryant24Participanti dont think so its still early but derek fisher is on his last legs i think its time to give farmar and shannon brown more playing time so they can see who is the point guard of the future fisher needs to tutor the two i think my lakers do need to pick it up though

quinceyhodgesnope..we always have problems against pg thats nothing new and the triangle offense doesnt require the pg to have alot of assists

Meditated StatesParticipantFarmar had 17, but 2 assist from the point guard position is a little low and how often does Farmar drop 17 even. Do you think Farmar or Brown are really the PG of the future for that team. And yeah I know the triangle does not need require the PG to have a lot of assist, but 2 total? Not panic time at all, but I think that team needs a better player at the starting point than they have on that team. Still a favorite and all just some questions.

PHILA9ParticipantI don’t think so. Artest and Kobe are injured.

the I in winParticipantThey don’t need a trade but a more reliable point would make them a lot harder to beat. If they are to bring in a point he needs to fit in the triangle (shoot 3’s, good at the two man game, post up game would be lovely but not competely necessary)

bdoody42ParticipantWhich point guards would help them the best that are reasonable for them to obtain?
