MagikKnickParticipantThere only keeping Nate if he accepts the Qualifiying Offer, dont plan on matching anything for him..
And there waiting for other teams to send offers to DLee, and depending on how much they’ll either match the offer, or try to get a sign and trade

NYK2010ParticipantPortland & Oklahoma have cap room but both GM’s too smart to offer him more than 7-8 mill and Blazers have Aldridge starting. Maybe he stays with the Knicks for one year and next year is a free agent when half the league is under the cap.
Nate maybe some team offers him the mid level i think he’s worth it just the attitude and playing like a SG lowered his value. I figure the Lakers would take him in a sign n trade with Jeffries for Farmar, Morrison and fillers. Imagine Nate, Kobe, Artest, Odom, Gasol on the floor at the same time. Nate won’t return as a Knicks unless he takes the qualifying offer.

OldSkoolBasketballParticipantThe problem is Portland doesn’t want to offer him a contract and wait 10 days to see if NY would match it.

NYK2010Participanttrue thats why Lee’s agent is pissed but thats how it goes Lee is overrated anyway soft on D, inconsistent jumper and doens’t block shots thats not a 10 mill a year player.

Meditated StatesParticipantI like Lee but he is asking for too much $, and I’m not overly impressed with guys who put up good numbers on bad teams.

knicksfreakParticipantBartlestein is crazy. He’s asking for 12 million for Lee. Nate isnt very desirable. Both players will probably return for qualifying offers.
