OhCanada-ParticipantI really like his game and think he could get drafted if he comes out. 6’10 240 and has an offensive skillset like a wing. Offers rim protection and is an active rebounder but his ballhandling is really improving. If he has a good tournament or a good game against Wisconsin he may want to enter the draft while his stock is high. What do you guys think about him as a prospect.

wonzi_bellsParticipantYeah, if he can add more range on his jump shot, he could move into a solid first-round pick discussion.

Dazzling Dunks and Basketball BloopersParticipantI’ve seen a lot of Michigan games this year. Wilson has the potential to possibly be a first round pick but he can definitely be frustrating to watch at times. There are stretches when he looks like the best player on the floor and stretches where he completely just disappears.
Right now, his low post game is non-existent. He might never be a guy you can play through but it would be nice if he at least developed a few basic moves to exploit mismatches. You can play a much smaller guy on him right now without having to worry much. He definitely needs to get tougher as well. He has a pretty solid frame but he can definitely get pushed around against stronger and more physical players.
He does shoot it very well from deep for a player his size and his athleticsm makes him a threat in pick and roll. He is realistically only about their fifth option on offense most of the time so it would be interesting to see what he could do in a more featured role. Most of his points come off of drop offs from penetration or catch and shoot three’s. You don’t really see him create his own offense much. He shows a lot potential as a weak side shot blocker but his one on one defense still needs improvement.
He would probably be better served staying another year to further develop his game as I really don’t see him being NBA ready right now. However, if he has a strong tourney showing there might be the temptation for him to declare.
