 After a couple of good games, I noticed that Dirk Nowitzki is under 150 points away from being only the 6th player to join the 30,000 point club. As the other 5 members are from the top table of NBA greats, this will be an amazing achivement by Dirk to join such an exclusive club. Hopefully this will happen fairly soon after the All Star break.

LBJ has recently passed 28,000 points so should also join this club some time next season durability accepting.

 Larry played with much more talent around him so it is hard to bring championships into this. Dirk’s one already gives him a lot of cred over players from the 90’s like Ewing and Barkley and Malone. But I still feel like Larry was a better game manager than Dirk.

Either way, you can’t help but love Dirk. Always brings his A game no matter where they are in the standings and Dirk and Cuban have always remained loyal to each other. Good for him.

Dirk is great. Probably top 10 all time SCORERS. But overall, I think he ends up between 15-25th all time. Larry is top 8.

One of the best to ever play. Such a unique player that guys will always be looking for the "Next Dirk".

 When I first saw Dirk play I went straight outside and practised a one legged post fade. Hopefully he still has a few years in him.

Not a Mavs fan but their championship against Miami was one of my all time favourites…..

 I’d never be able to put Dirk ahead of Bird but the 30,000 point club including Wilt, MJ, Kareem etc is a very exclusive club,

Karl Malone the 2nd highest scoring player ever would be probably in top 10 to 20 players ever IMO, Dirk maybe 15 to 20.
