Great value for the Heat(One year, $2.9 mil), and for Dion Waiters, he controls his own destiny to make more money next offseason. What do you guys think?

 Not sure why the heat would want waiters when they have Winslow and Richardson…not to mention the 50 mill they gave to Tyler Johnson. 

But im biased I can’t see a really reason why any team would want waiter.

 I’d be shocked if Pat Riley let Waiters wear the number 3 jersey for the Heat. Riley retired Michael Jordan’s number 23 in Miami and he never even played for the Heat. I don’t envision him letting anyone have the Heat’s homegrown superstars number.

 Good signing for both parties. The Heat need scoring this season. Waiters needs a team that will give him the ball. I see Dion averageing 14ppg, 4rpg, 2assists.

Interesting signing considering they have Josh Richardson, just matched Tyler Johnson’s 4 yr $50 million poison pill contract and they signed Wayne Ellington to 2 yrs $12 million.

With the feud between Riley and D-Wade, I could see Waiters getting Number 3 if he wanted. Who actually decides on numbering is it Coach for Front Office?
