mookieParticipantDid you guys catch what chris broussard said regarding Mark Cuban trying to get a hold of deandre jordan’s address? Last night Chris tweeted: Cuban beside himself. Driving around downtown HOUSTON begging (thru texts) Jordan’s family 4 address to DeAndre’s home
He actually said Cuban was begging?!?!??! That’s unbelieveable. I don’t know mark cuban but i hardly doubt he was begging anyone for anything. Poor journalism!

BostonCs FanParticipantBroussard trying to be a comedian, made himself sound pathetic. He is today’s Peter Vescey if people can remember him from when NBC had the NBA.

Reptilian MonkParticipantCuban probably had Jordan’s number and his relatives numbers. When he couldn’t get a hold of Jordan he was probably relentlesssly calling/texting Jordan’d relatives asking them to please give him Jordan’s address and was very upset. It is possible Jordan’s relatives told Broussard what Cuban was texting them but the word "begging" is not proper to use for such a sucessful man like Cuban even if it seems likely true. Not very professional but not a completely made up story.

BigChamp12ParticipantMy opinion… I don’t think Chris was trying to be funny at all. I think he really was told these things. And looking at the magnitude of the enitre situation, I can actually believe it. I, personally would have never tweeted that out there simply because I dont think it’s in good taste and that’s not personality. But let’s look at this with a clear mind.
Deandre Jordan agreed to sign with Dallas for 20m per year. Dallas assumes that cap space is used and that position is fulfilled. They handle the rest of the free agent period accordingly, assuming they have a team with DeAndre Jordan at Center. They allow Tyson, Monte, and other free agents to get swooped up with other teams. They think they’re going to compete for a championship. At the last minute DeAndre changes his mind. Yall really think Mark Cuban wasn’t calling and texting continuously to get a meeting with Jordan? I’m willing to put money on it. MArk Cuban is a fighter. He din’t just lay down and say ok he’s gone. He tried to talk to DeAndre. He tried to keep him. Broussard said on Sportscenter that he stood by his word and that Cuban texted over 12 times, trying to get DeAndre to talk to him. We all may not say that’s begging, but it’s not that wrong either if someone says texting 12 times is begging.
That was my feelings about it. Still, I wouldn’t have said begging.

Magic JordanParticipantOh yeah you derived all that from my two line comment? Fine, I should have said and all the times he uses religion as a means to justify his own personal distaste for homosexuals because of what it says in his 2000 year old book of fairytales.
Intolerant towards religion? Not at all. Intolerant towards people who use religion as a means to oppress…. Absolutely jackass.

Andrew1984ParticipantSo, you should have the freedom to express your anti-Christian, inflammatory, hateful, name-calling insults based on your own philosophical, moral worldview and your own beliefs about right and wrong, but anyone who disagrees with you should not have the freedom to express their philosophical, moral worldview and their beliefs about right and wrong?

Magic JordanParticipantPretty standard Christian defense right there. If calling your book a fairytale is inflammatory and hateful then what do you call the book that perpetuates racism, sexism and openly bashes homesexuality. The bible is what you call it. My beliefs about treating all people equally are not up for debate on right or wrong… they are right, though I am sure your bed time stories could find a way to twist it for you simpletons.. If you want to try to compare your ability to say what you like and perpetuate hate, to my ability to call out those who perpetuate hate, like it is some apple to apple comparison… then you are the perfect target for those child molesting, old men in which you serve. I have no problem with people disagreeing with me, or expressing their own beliefs as I do, however I respect it more when they aren’t following the word of people who lived hundreds of years ago. Again… your argument is so easy to make. Should we not call Hitler a pile of &$#%#&@! for the things he did because I in a sense would be judging him…. NOT APPLES TO APPLES.

King CaluchaParticipantI am a christian and I do not think we are entitled to critizicing other people’s lifestyles… we are entitled to disagreeing, but critizicing goes one step beyond. It’s like saying: "I’m right and you’re not". Therefore, I don’t like the way that guy Broussard expressed himself in public, he should have kept those comments to himself.
Prejudice is why some good guys haven’t been allowed to succeed in life.
Now back on topic. Broussard might have sources, but clearly he’s looking for the home run news all the time and that shows lack of ethics.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI’m a Christian but also a realist and understand not everyone will agree with me on matters of religion. I’m fine with that. I don’t feel it’s right to force my religion on anyone and don’t feel it’s right to criticize those who are devout worshippers. I don’t agree with everything that’s said in the Bible and know it shouldn’t be taken word for word to be the end all, be all of how we live. I feel the way that we should live is simply treat others with respect, and we’ll generally have good lives. When talking religion though, the one thing that always gets me is when people make it sound like religious people are lower in intelligence than non-religious people (i.e. "book of fairytales"). You might not have meant it to have it come off that way, but to me, a phrase like that makes it sound anyone who believes what is stated in relgious doctrines is living in la la land. Now I’m not using this as a means to justify anything Chris Broussard has said about homosexuals. They’re people too and deserve the same respect as everyone else. I’m just letting you know the way that small comments like that can come across to others.

CameronCrazy11ParticipantI mean religious people were later referred to as "simpletons" too so I’d say that comment was meant to contain some malice in its meaning. I’ve been around plenty of friends who condemn religion regularly too so I’m pretty used to picking up on those little comments by now.

Magic JordanParticipantNo you are right, that is what I meant, but obviously there are outliers. I would never throw all religions into one pot even though I may refer to them that way. In regards to the fairytales remark, I meant more so due to the lack of science and physics defying evidence that is used such as walking on water. Physics says no, thus it’s a fairytale to me… unless of course it was ice, which would have been very sneaky for Matthew to leave out.
You are not a simpleton, as you stated using religion more as moral guidelines on how to treat people is the true intention. Unfortunately their are the simpleton types which is who I refer to who accept the bible in a literal sense, thus condeming others for who they prefer to bone.
Not that any of this matters. Andrew just chose to try to use the same tactic he was accusing me for in the very comment he was accusing me. For that he is also everything he called me…. and a simpleton to top it off.

I am saying that both of you should be able to do so. That’s the liberty that the Constitution provides. While I don’t agree with any of your statements or positions, you have every right to make them, and so does Broussard.
You are saying that Broussard’s views should be silenced, but your views should be amplified.

Bed HeadParticipantWhat some might call Cuban "fighting for his man", others could reasonably describe as "begging". It’s not Broussard’s job to preserve (what’s left of) Cuban’s dignity. I’ve always hated how "in bed with the NBA" ESPN sometimes seems. A little independence is a good thing.
BTW, what did Broussard say about women? Because the only "controversy" that I recall was when he said Jason Collins made him "uncomfortable" (and not in a good way).
P.S. Oh, and anyone who negs me is a total sexist. Seriously.
P.P.S. Just joking.
P.P.P.S. Though it could appear that way to others. So why take the risk?

There is no way that Cuban didn’t know his address .He was almost his boss and he surely knew his address .his agent Dan Fegan is Cuban friend ,Parson is his friend ,surely all would know where he is living
