ZarathustraParticipantGary Payton said recently that LeBron son is committed to play at Sierra Canyon School in LA next year, that school already having Scottie Pippen jr and Kenyon Martin jr.
Former students there : Kendall and Kylie Jenner + Willow Smith and Corrine Foxx (Jamie’s daughter), "illuminati school" (lol)
Is it just guaranteed now that LeBron will play in LA ?
Will he go to Jerry West or Magic ?

SmooveKRYPTParticipantThat school is a factory as of late. Also produced Marvin Bagley and currently have Cassius Stanley the best 2019 recruit in CA.

The GoatParticipantIt doesnt have to be LA, he can make a short commute by air… The King going to the Kings..! Bring them to the Finals and he is then undoubtedly the GOAT

HitsterParticipantI don’t see him ever sitting out a year.
But would there be anything to stop him taking a vet minimum contract and say going to Houston then they reward him handsomely next year. It would be a humble gesture and the offcourt money he makes would cover his salary shortfall plus a load of his salary would go on tax anyway so the hit isn’t as big as you’d think.
There would be nothing in theory to stop a “SuperTeam” being assembled and all guys took a fair bit below market rate but made money back via spin offs.

bones1023ParticipantOne major thing stopping him is that he is VP of the players association and that would set a really bad precedent, never mind that it would not help the players association in future negotiations. I do not think Lebron takes a major paycut anywhere he goes, teams will just have to get super creative.

SmooveKRYPTParticipantThis is the reason both he and CP3 will take only the absolute max! They negotiated in these rules and took on the top leadership roles in the union to set the precedent. They’re setting up the future guys to get the most they can earning wise out of their careers. This is more about the next CBA negotiation than it is them. I’m sure they’d both take a couple million less per year if it meant not depleting the bench completely and them being able to play together in their final stage in Houston, but they’re not about to give owners any leverage to take more in the next bargaining round.

Lotto StudParticipantLeBron’s son has enrolled into school in Los Angeles, but before we all jump the gun of him landing on the Lakers team, ask yourself, why would he take on the scrutiny of not living up to what Kobe and Magic has accomplished to bury his name and legacy in the GOAT discussions?
I am not saying to rule out the Lakers completely, but the Clippers would make more sense if he heads into that direction.
