ProximoParticipant38 and counting with a minute and a half to go vs Penn State. He’s killing it.
Maryland was down by 10 with 6 to-go and Stone made a huge steal at halfcourt, turned it into an and-1 at the rim, by-far the biggest momentum bucket of the game…
He’s lost plenty of weight in the last bunch of months, he’s 6’11ish with a widebody and a soft shooting touch, 18/23 from the line(so far) in this one.. Seems very draftable to me, I don’t think he’s better than Henry Ellenson – He’s damn good though, and an obvious NBA player.
This site doesn’t seem to think he’s a one-and-done, or even a two-and-done, I disagree with that assessment. Stone is solidly in the top-25 this year, this performance only confirms that.

BallerScriptParticipantI love his playstyle, I feel like he has DeMarcus Cousins potential.

Hype MachineNice.
I didnt think he was one of those guys who could lose the bulk…but it appears hes in great shape.
Games like that will boost your draft stock real quick.

DukeDaSquadParticipantI’ve always been high on him. In a post before the season started I called him the best prospect in the Big Ten and I am sticking to it. I think he was in great shape last year in High School also since i followed him more closely because he played on the same team as Giannis’ younger brother. I watched some of his footage from High School and he was a beast to me. He used his big body and very underrated athleticism to dominate on the inside offensively and defensively. He also knocked down plenty of threes in high school. I Think he is easily a lotto prospect. He kinds of reminds me of Bynum. I didn’t expect any near 40 pt games from him but I thought he was capable of putting up some 20/10 games

OhCanada-ParticipantNot too sure why you got -4 negs on that post but I completely agree. At the beggining of the year I predicted he would establish himself as the top C prospect and I’m standing by that. Stones game is misunderstood. He plays like Bobby Portis with the same tenacity and skill set in Demarcus Cousins body. He’s strong as a bull and his motor is non-stop.

EspressoParticipantI actually said the opposite of the posters above. I found him one dimensional player with limited soft touch. I said Ellenson was a guaranteed better pick.
