How have the Clippers become the Prefered destination of 2 superstars. NO have to trade CP3 before the season starts in order to avoid a circus & to get maximum value for the Purest PG since Zeke.

& this is the only value they can get from the trade.

    CP3 & Okur or Ariza

    for

    Aminu/Top 5 pick 2012 pick from Minny/ & EBledsoe/Kaman expiring deal

    Or DHow

    DHow/Turk

    for

    Aminu/Kaman’s Expiring$/EBledsoe & Top 5 pick

For both teams losing their respective superstar they can recoup with 2 Top 5 picks if they gut their roster now.

Now on to the more pertinent ?. Who would be better next to Blake?

I think CP/w the help of a Veteran Scoring Wing & solid bench production could have this franchise playing in late June in the next year or two.

I’m shocked to see how any people actually think Aminu/Bledsoe and an unknown draft pick can get a Top 10 Player in the NBA…Shocked…

How about the Sixers step in already and just offer

Holiday,Turner,Iguadola,Hawes and a 2012 draft pick for Howard…I think that deal trumps Bledsoe/Aminu and an unknown draft pick(people are going to be shocked if that Wolves pick ends up being the 8th or 9th pick in the draft)…

Offer that deal to The Pacers for Danny Granger and see what they tell you LA…

    Let me reiterate

Clipps trade Aminu/EBledsoe/Kaman & Minnys 2012 Top 5 pick for Either DHoward or Chris Paul.

I don’t think Howard & Blake would play as well together because most of their damage will be done around the rim.

But CP would elevate Blake’s game & add more BBall IQ to the Clipps.

And Scarecrow, yeah, not sure the Pacers would even take that deal for Granger.  And why does everyone think the Pacers want to deal Granger?  He can coexist with Paul George.

There is this thing called the Lottery to take into account…

then there is a whole 66 game season to factor in as well…

Why are you so hell bent on calling the Wolves pick a TOP 5 Pick…they could shock the World and get the 8th seed, they could land in the Warriors spot the last few seasons and get the 8th to 12th pick IMO…

    Ask yourself this ???

Would you trade a Top 10 Player for an Imaginary(and unofficial) Top 5 pick,Blesoe,Aminu and Chris Kaman???

If you reply Yes, then you sir are a Moron!!!

there are no assessts for trading paul to a Contender, plus none of the rebuilding teams will Deal for Paul knowing he has a preference for 2 places. All you can get from Top 10 players getting traded is Upside. DWill for Favors & Kantner is a great example of the Situation that the Hornets should look for. The Jazz have 2 of the Top 3 players in the 2010/2011 draft plus a #13 pick (albeit their own) that the fan base can be excited about. all of the Contenders have solid role players & they could rent CP for 66 games but the Hornets will not get any value in return. @Least with Bledsoe/Aminu & a Lottery pick you would have someone with upside

And I think I proved my point

As a Pacer’s fan you’d be a little pissed to see that Trade go down HUh???

Now put yourselves in The Hornets and Magic shoes, how does that deal equal a win for your Franchise…

Again…Why are people so convinced that deal is A. Fair B. Realistic C. Ever going to happen…

As much as I love Gordon and Griffin I’m counting down the days until they leave LA through Free Agency…

These are the Clippers we are talking about…

They traded what became the # 1 pick to Cleveland for Mo Williams…LMAO…they just showed you that they have no clue on how to run a AAA Ball Club…They could have their PG right Now, Or their Center or Sf of the future, instead they have Mo Williams…Again The Cavs say Thanks Donald Sterling, you sir are a Moron…

Moron? No. Anyway if that Top 10 player wants to leave & we are rebuilding i would take that pick & move on. Look @ the NO roster CP willed that team to the 5th seed last year, without adding a Ton of talent or a Suitable Sidekick for CP how can NO not trade him for value now.

because he’s Chris F-in Paul!  He’s not some fourth-tier star like kevin Martin or Devin Harris!  If you’re rebuilding, Chris Paul is the guy you keep and build around.

CP3 is the best Pg in The NBA when healthy, but he’s also getting older and the injuries have still been there…So again…You’d trade away your future for an Older/Injury prone CP3…Good Luck…you are clearly not in touch with whats happening in New Orleans, they have no ownership group and will be out of the NBA if they trade Chris Paul for those scraps you call Building Blocks…At least The Nba can sell the Hornets if they have a Face of The Franchise type…Who’ll want to buy that Money Pit of a Franchise if you trade away The lone star for a Bunch of C level prospects and Chris Kaman…oh yeah because you think you can get a High Pick out the Deal…At the very least I would want to secure the place of the pick.. I would want to be certain it was the 1st to 3rd pick in the draft(and we won’t know that until the lottery, Next JUNE!!!) Again This talk of Paul for Bledsoe/Aminu and Kaman is a bad joke…The Wolves pick isn’t a sure fire top 3 pick no matter how much you think The Wolves will suck(I’ve been hard on that team for years and won’t bet on that pick being higher that 8th in 2012)

The Wolves pick isn’t a sure fire Top 3 Pick?

Will Alderman/RRubio/DWilliams add enough victories to get Minny out of their customary place @ the bottom of the league, If so you have a ton of faith in Those 3 guys. So the answer to the draft pick is right here the Twolves have not added a player or coach that can give them the wins they need to be anything less than a bottom team again this year. Top 5 pick for Clipps?

@Least the NBA can sell the Franchise if they have a Face of the franchise

2nd ? This is a team that had to run a special attendance promotion to keep the team in NO in february of Last year. This is a depressed basketball market. (So keeping the Hornets in NO is not that big of a deal/W Seattle Looking for a Chise & a Solid Fan base). Seattle traded their entire roster & sold the team

      Hey we disagree

With the NBA owning the Hornets in a Market that is Small/ NO Saints Crazy they have not proved that they can build around him now so who’s to say they will make better decisions later. CP is about to hit his Prime Years & I would love to see him playing in June with a Legit Sidekick(Blake). As far as NO goes its Over just start rebuilding now. Denver is in the Same position now but @least they have some guy’s with upside.

Answer some of my Questions instead of being a CP3/Griffin fanboy…because I love CP3 and Howard too…I’m not making stupid pre destined trade threads putting those two in Philadelphia(which is a Large market with a Rich History in the NBA)..If The Clippers move to The Moon they’ll still be the Clippers, they need more than trading Aminu/Bledsoe and Kaman in any deal to get past that little grain of truth…

Seattle didn’t trade their entire team, they relocated to OKC and their roster relocated with them…Statements like that prove my point people…

Ask yourself how well the Rockets played without half the Talent of the Wolves(they were playing very hard and actually looked like a borderline playoff team for a while last year, that was with No Yao/TMac and Scola was hurt for a stretch too)…The Wolves have a ton of talent and will be given the chance to run and gun their way to 30 wins this year…how do you figure that pick to be so High??? There are at least 5 teams worst then them right now…

Cavs-Pistons-Bobcats-Kings-Nets-Easily worst then the Wolves…Not to mention so of the other TYeams that could free fall, like the Hornets,Suns, warriors and Clippers…The Jazz could have a rough year too if they make trades and lose Millsap or Big Al…I think the worst the Wolves can do is be the 8th worst team in the League, that’s the 8th pick in the draft for the Clippers(which is proclaimed by people like you as The Deal Making Pick that allows New Orleans and Orlando to part ways with a Top 10 Player)…

How come no one talks about CP3 and Dwight joining forces? That would trump CP3 + Griffin combo and they would make the best PG-C team-up since Magic and Kareem. This is always the two superstars I’ve wanted to see happen because you give a pass-first PG the most athletic guy in the league, and it would be so fun to watch.

Hold up Proud Gramps, you said you wouldn’t even take that deal for Granger? I am a Warriors fan, and I love Ellis as a player, and I don’t want to trade him unless we get great value, (Which is not Iggy) and Bledsoe-Aminu-Kaman- and Minny’s top 5 pick(although I would wait to make sure that the T Wolves suck again) is somthing I would seriously consider. I know Granger can coexist with George, but I don’t think George is going to be more than a good role player, but I have alot of hope in George Hill and Darren Collison, Roy Hibbert is solid big, So if you can get say a Harrioson Barnes, and Stockpile assets in Aminu, Bledsoe, and Paul George, along with a good amount of cap room, that may be just enough to make a run at Dwight, than I don’t see why you wouldn’t take that. Flip Hibbert for aguy like Caron Butler, and now you have a top 4 team in the East, although I doubt that Howard would go to Indiana.

    @The Scare Crow Returns

What’s the point of all the name calling? That’s uncalled for… He’s entitled to post his trade ideas.

I’ll tell you what’s moronic… Proposing that a RE-building team take on the remaining three years and $44 million of a 2nd option… Because that’s what Andre Iguodala is… He’s a 2nd/3rd option on a championship caliber team.

Holiday is a very good young point guard, Turner is a solid prospect and Hawes is a bumb… Basically, the Magic would be the new and UN-improved 76ers…

The problem with trading CP3 is that they will not get equal value for him. Also, he won’t be traded to a team unless they know he will re-sign. So that probably brings it down to a handful of teams.

While that Philly offer would be great for NO, it would blow the team up too much, and CP3 would be reluctant to sign a long term deal there when all he gets to play with is a washed up Brand and T.Young. Just as bad as his situation with the hornets.

He will be traded to the team that can give the best offer to NO, while still maintaining a lineup with enough potential to win 50+ games year in-year out.

    Realistic offers to NO:

    Philly: Turner, Holiday, picks

Houston: Lowry, Hill/Patterson, Budinger/Morris/Lee, picks (they have NY’s this year, and Memphis’ next year, as well as their own

Portland : Felton, Batum, Williams, picks,

    Clips: Bledsoe, Aminu, Minny pick

It would make sense to resign Jordan to use him as leverage to acquire Howard if they are really considering targeting him.

     If Im correct

    The Magic want

Gordon/Jordan/Aminu/Bledsoe and Wolves Pick for 1 Dwight Howard???…again I never said the Magic wouldn’t take That Deal…LOL…because like I said they’re gutting the Clippers roster and sending Howard to the Black Hole and basketball Bermuda Triangle called Clipperland…they would have have to give them the House…maybe they can keep Blesoe IMO, but they are going to lose Gordon/Jordan/Aminu and that Pick people see as NBA Gold…How do they actually compete with the NBA’s best…throw the ball in the air 100 times a game and watch The Freak Show finish it…that looks and sounds fun for 5 minutes untl they’re losing games like , uh The Clippers

cp3 (leagues best passer) + griffin (best dunker) = excitement

watching griffin and howard shoot 10 free throws each at about 60% would be painful to watch each game…

just shut this down. It is Paul all the way. If LAC can pull a deal for Paul and Ariza its a good deal no matter what they give up. Howard and Griffin do not compliment one another very well. Someone said the next Duncan and Robinson but both those guys could knock down mid range jumpers something both struggle with at the moment. They would clog the middle for each other and just get fouled a bunch.

So people get excited about the future potential of Jordan and Griffin, but they snarl at Howard and Griffin???

Howard is who Jordan wishes he was. And people act like Griffin’s jumper is just broke or that he’s a player that’s glued to the block. He can play the low, mid or high post and he’s ARGUABLY the best passer at his position already. He’s also unselfish.

Saying Howard and Griffin can’t work is absolute foolishness.

Jordan knows his role on the team though. No doubt Howard is an upgrade at the C position but the question was who is a better fit. Chris Paul to me is clearly the better fit. No Griffin’s jumper isn’t broke but its not great. He pretty much exclusively drives to the basket and is working on his bank shot. I am not saying Griffin & Howard is a bad combo but I think Deandre provides some of the same things Dwight does and LAC has no reliable PG.

Oh yea, if the question is who is the better fit, that’s definitely Paul.

Paul, Gordon, insert SF, Griffin and Jordan could definitely be a great team in the West.

And I don’t think it’d require as much to get Paul as it would Howard.
