I’m tired of hearing about the New York Knicks!!! They suck. Every year we hear about how better they are and their plan to win games. Please let’s fall into reality. If you don’t make the playoffs in the eastern conference (a weak conference) for several years on end, the team is garbage. The have maybe the worst ownership in sports….. Larry Brown, Isiah Thomas, Malik Rose, McDyess, Maruice Taylor, lol. Chris Duhon is the starting point guard. Name five STARTING GUARDS in the NBA that he is better than. They even passed on Brandon Jennings. Why? Didn’t Jermore James get $35 mil. Ha ha ha. Are they still paying Allen Houston and Larry Johnson by chance. They traded for Eddy Curry and Zach Randolph, rationalizing that they could co-exist in the front court. I get they’re are several Knick fans on here, but really, the Knicks stink and have for a while. And no, Lerbon is not going to New York.

    Also, check the history..

    1. R.I.P. Earl Manugult.
    2. Wesley Johnson top 15 pick
    3. D-Howard is overated
    4. Melo will lead the lead in scoring
    5. The Lakers will three-peat
    6. Steve Nash doesn’t deserve two MVPs, while Kobe only has 1. It’s ridiculous to even fathom.
    7. Eric Devendorf will be drafted. (Sorry about that one).

Totally agree ! and unless they through max money at less than marquee players …such as Mike Redd , can’t see a top free agent wanting to sign with them.

i hear the same thing from the clippers..( this year we are gonna do it) but every year they just dont cut it. fans will say injuries but every team deals with injuries thats why other players have to step up. and yeah lakers three and four peat:)

At least the Clippers have some excellent young talent, with Griffin, Thorton, Gordon & Kaman. Add another lottery pick….

Im a Knicks fan, and I’ll be the first person to tell you that we stink….so what exactly is the point your trying to make?

And like Quincey said, there are 30 teams in the NBA, ALL with high expectations, teams like Knicks, Clippers, Nets, T’Wolves, WIZARDS, DETROIT, GOLDEN STATE and Charlotte and year after year they disappoint….why is there a double-standard with the Knicks?

yeah but they always have some talented young talent and they end up in the same spot as the knicks who dont have as much talented young talent.so that actually is worst if you have talented young talent and still end up being bad year in and year out

it’s dissapointing that they never could get it all together. I really like david lee, I hope they can keep him next year and put together a solid team. just a shame they don’t have a draft pick in this upcoming draft =/

They have a double standard because they are A) in New York and B) spent money like they were the Yankees until recently C) they do the opposite of the Clips and overpay free agents, see: JEROME JAMES and D) not great in the draft as they trade their early pick 5 years in advance (slight sarcasm) see: 2010 draft…

Thanks Faction, you took the words right out of my mouth! New York is the number 1 market for media, citizens and businesses. And still, the Knicks continue to sell out games to faithfuls. The consumers, fans, ticket buyers, etc. deserve better. Problem is, each year the Knicks organization promise anyone who will listen that they will be better. They make all kind of excuses of why they will get better, yet they never do. It’s annoying. Heck sometimes, I think they intentionally fail.

Apparently you upset someone with logic, I see minus points. I think knicks fans are just mad at how bad they’ve been in recent years. On a mad scale of 1 to 10 they are at Chris Brown.

Thanks but I get subtracted points for saying things like Durant would have gone first if the draft was redone, or for saying you can’t possibly think you can sign Wade, LBJ, and get John Wall in the draft, or that most Coaches of the Year get fired becuase they get the award in the beginning of their tenure and are expected to keep it up, or DWade isn’t the MVP so far this season. So I appreciate the point you gave me, especially since I get the negatives with no rebuttal!
I think it’s me then Dhamp and Hubie Brown are pretty close…haha

Who said the Knicks were gonna do jack this year? Your saying you keep hearing they are gonna do this and that. Im a hardcore Knicks fan, and yea they stink, but who thought they were gonna be any good this year? Noone. Thats who. If you go look at all the NBA analysts on ESPN.com they predicted the Knicks to finish no better than 13th in the conference. Isiah Thomas is to blame for this mess. But I love reading what all the irrational thinking Knick haters have to say. And DHAMP you seem pretty knowledgeable about basketball but this is the second time in the last month you have posted this same comment. Bring something original next time.

Knicks will be fine in the long run we know they stink, considering they have no PG or C.
Also you factor in shooting horribly what do you expect.
Look at some of the tems they lost to Miami, Boston, Cleveland, Atlanta, Lakers are they anywhere near those teams.
Yeah they loss to the Bobcats, Sixers, Warriors but it seems like an odd time to bash them after they played better recently too. Teams with a lot more talent are playing worse.
D’antoni pushed the playoff notion and if they played well at home they’d actually be right there considering how many bad some East Conf. teams have played.
Still I think ppl are underrating them no way there the worst team in the league or this bad.
Isiah put the franchise back so many years with stupid trades, signings and now people are like we want a 50 win team.
Its not just him Layden, Grunfelt & Checketts screwed up the team w/ trades, garbage contracts and almost no young talent from the 90’s on.
They just have to bear it for another year.

I think we hear this talk about the Knicks a lot because they are one of the NBA’s storied franchises as well as in one of America’s largest cities. Also, out of all the bad teams, I’m not sure any other team that is that bad spends as much money. They have the 100+ million dollar payroll and never win games. If you spend as much as they do, you should at least be fielding a playoff team every year.
