UNCbasketballbumParticipantI think Dexter Pittman came into Texas weighing around 350. He looks like he’s at like 245 now and is getting run in Miami. Dude must’ve worked his tail off to get into that kind of condition.

juves4783Participantsome reports had him at almost 400 lb his freshman year. i think he is down to 280 lbs now. but yeah, credit the texas strength and conditioning staff and dexter p for the hard work. miami seems to be doing a good job of keeping him slim. eddy curry should take notes.

UNCbasketballbumParticipantCurry asked Pittman to be a part of his eating club, but Dexter denied.

Tongue-Out-Like-23ParticipantWow, this guy looks sleak and slender and is playing very hard this game. 7 rebounds in 15 minutes. If he continues to improve, he can play a prominant role next season off the bench. Not just half the season and only played with injuries, rest-days to starters, or garbage minutes.

JoeWolf1He’s got a nice game for a backup center. He knows what he’s good at, doesn’t foul much and is extremely fundamentally sound. I’m not thrilled, nor have I ever been about his upside, but I see a 10 year career for him. I predicted he’d start 20 games at the beginning of the year, I’m glad he’s getting a shot. He’s got more offensive game than Anthony and Turiaf.

Future_Scout boardim a beast.
in a heat forum i said this guy would amount to something (together with chalmers) over and over when he never played and people hated me. i also posted here that i want some playing time for pittman, and got negged.

RUDEBOY_ParticipantIf the Heat had a more dominant rebounder, they would really be hard to beat….They often get out hustled on the boards…This is something they really need to address either though free agency or the draft…
Guys like Bernard James,Fab Melo,Festus Ezeli, Andrew Nickelson & Drew Gordon might be there if they decide to keep their late 1st round pick…..

iguapops420ParticipantI ‘ve often wondered why he didn’t get more burn. Especially with the way he’s been regarded by that club. Brendan HAywood with heart.

Future_Scout boardhe needs more playing time. the dude straight up likes to box out/ bang. and has a sense of timing on the offensive glass.
dwight howard got a technical in the preseason cuss for b!tching cuss pitt banging hard with him.
has a better post up game than a lot of centers, he is a guy you can feed in the post believe or not.
if he can stay out of foul trouble i see him being a legit back up

Future_Scout boardoh yea, and he lost mad weigh, which was a major reason for his foul trouble,
he just needs to be a lil less aggressive (how often do you have to say that)
he is running the court much better and has had SOME SERIOUS POSTERIZERS lately, i cant even put into words how nasty it was. look at the video under subject and go to the 1:30 mark… he’s had more like that. straight up facials
