Cant confirm but I think I saw it on ESPN. Devin Harris signed with the macs 3yr 9 million? Anyone else see this?

If so, what are the MAVS doing? Obviously they don’t think they can contend for a championship but it seems teams acknowledge that and rebuild. Their past free agent acquisitions (kaman, brand) didnt help at all.

Any mav fans that have insight let me know.

Just seems to me they are hanging far to long on their championship dreams and need to be selling, it just seems like they are just trying to fill a roster. I feel bad for Rick Carlise.

I get the Harris signing but why both him and Calderon if u have Larkin? I’d go younger, sell pieces while people still hold value. I’d even put Dirk on the table, Boston got rid of pierce. I thought cubes was smarter with his money.

I don’t know if this deal is official but I did see that it was nearing completion, I guess if I’m the mavs they might want to replace collision and bring Larkin along slowly, remember they had mike James playing pg at times last year and mayo’s scoring is gone.It’s not a move that I would say makes them significantly better but it gives them familiarity, depth, and flexibility. Maybe play collision and Harris in certain situations.
