The Pistons are in horrible shape can anyone come up with any trade ideas to help them?

Prince is their most valuable asset, bc his contract is expiring.
Rip will be harder to move bc he has another year on his.
But yeah, they need to rid themselves of the logjam at 2 and 3.
I have a feeling prince will be moved around the deadline if they are doing well, and the same thing next year with Rip.
I think the best bet is to try to move prince and get some help inside or maybe a true pg.

They need to revamp the whole roster..

Ben Gordon is probably not tradable because of that terrible contract.. So, they will jut have to eat his contract and try to use him for a punch off the bench.

Rip Hamelton is going to have to go to a team that is set for the next few years and are comfortable taking a fairly long contract.. Maybe they could trade him to the Hornets for:

Peja and Songaila

for

Hamilton and Maxiell

That gives the Pistons lots of money coming off the books and they could possibly work out a buyout..

They could send Prince to the Magic for Bass and Peitrus.. That gives the Pistons a great defender and a young PF to pair with Monroe…

They literally have the worst franchise player in the NBA in Rodney Stuckey. Honestly for me, if they don’t trade Hamilton and Prince than their season will serve virtually no purpose, because they have no chance of doing anything. They have overpaid Ben Gordon like anything. He cannot start beside Rodney Stuckey and the guy is so one dimensional. Dumars has to go, too. They will have the worst record in the NBA.

the trade for ai wouldnt have sucked so bad if they used the money his expiring contract gave them on players that could actually help them win…then it wouldnt have been such a bad move. People talk about it like it was an awful deal but really they weren’t bout to win it all with Chauncey there still. Joe just made poor judgement on who to pick up and sadly im not suprised. And yeah they need to blow it all up and try to have a bad record so they actually can rebuild
