One guy who is second to none from a scoring standpoint in college is Deshaun Thomas of OSU. This guy just finds a way to score the ball whether its from the perimeter, mid-range, free throw line, or working the offensive glass. The scoring load is all on him now with Sully & Buford gone & I wouldnt be surprised if he is in the top 5 in the country in scoring.

Deshaun has been a big time scorer his entire life. His freshman year in high school he averaged FREAKING 29 ppg & 13 boards. His sophomore year he averaged 29 ppg & 12 boards. His junior year he averaged 30 points & 15 boards. His senior year he averaged 32 points & 15 boards which makes him the 3rd highest scoring player in Indiana high school bball history with 3,018 points.

As you can see from his high school stats he is also a very good rebounder, especially on the offensive glass. He has some of the best hands I have ever seen when it comes to rebounding, & seems to always know right where the ball is gonna bounce. His offensive IQ is through the roof & with the word out that he has lost some weight & has become quicker it should be really fun watching him rack up the point totals this year.

He will be a junior this season at OSU & he had some big time games last year for the Bucks including this 30 point game against South Carolina & it really shows just how many different ways he can really score the ball, plus his rebounding ability.

Another video where he scores 23 against Wisconsin & shows off all the ways he can score the ball again.

He’s been a mismatch his entire life which is why he’s been able to score a ton. Too big and strong for 3s too fast for 4s. He’s one of my favorite players but I’m not sure that he will have the same success in the nba

He’d have to play the small forward in the NBA unless he became a David West like player. But even then he’s smaller than West.

He’s talented but as far as his Pro career AT BEST he is a Carmelo Anthony type of player, but he’s most likely to end up more like Ryan Gomes who was a nice scorer in Boston and minny
