FastAndFuriousParticipantI believe Derrick was better, yes John Wall has the type of speed, quickness that Derrick had but that’s where it ends.
Derrick led his team better
Derrick was way more in control, Wall is a turnover machine
Derrick is more explosive, get’s into the paint better, game was more polished, Wall looks very very raw.
John is struggling ALOT in the half court set, more than I thought he would 21 games in and he still really hasn’t figured it out.
John Wall is super turnover prone everytime he touches I think turnover, I still think he’s the best PG in college but I just don’t think he is better than D.Rose

the I in winParticipantDerrick Rose started the season really slowly. Wait to see how Wall plays in the Tourney. Rose was amazing in the Tourney and his performance would be hard to beat but if anyone could it would be Wall.

lalailaParticipantyes that’s true about turnovers but Rose’s 4,xx something assists per game wasn’t that good like Wall now avg more than impressive 7apg, Wall avg around 2 steals Rose just over 1, plus Wall’s J really looks better thsn I thought..

quinceyhodgesbut his assist dont mean alot when hes averaging almost as many turnovers. they cancel each other out

lalailaParticipantbut those 2 less assists plus 2 less ppg doesn’t make Rose such a better leader

DanEboyParticipantAlso, don’t forget that Rose had a ton of ‘veteran’ players on his team. Wall is surrounded by mostly freshmen who are learning the system along with him. Patterson is such a key in the teams success. Derrick played with more poise and more under control as well.

the I in winParticipantThose are some damn good freshmen though.

Sorry.Winning.ParticipantLet’s not forget that Wall has alot more talent around him than Rose did, the second player drafted out of Memphis that year was Joey Dorsey 33rd overall then CDR 40th overall. Dorsey isn’t in the NBA anymore and CDR might as well not be either he is a starter on the Nets. Wall on the other hand has DeMarcus Cousins, Patrick Patterson, and Eric Bledsoe. Patterson and Cousins will be drafted in the top ten this year. So although Wall has a better team they are really inexperianced. I’m not saying that one is better than the other but I just thought someone should point out who is on each team

FastAndFuriousParticipantExactly Rose was def more under control and played with more poise, Wall is averaging 7 assit yea but throw in 7 turnover’s with that, Rose just looked alot smoother on the court, I would just take Rose over Wall
