I heard via CBS sports that the jazz may be looking to trade favors in order to re-sign Paul Millsap this summer. This is interesting.

With reports also coming out today that Orlando could potentially trade down, could their number five pick net them Favors and the jazz’s number 12?

Winslow or Porzingis would be interesting options for Utah. Also with news about WCS gimpy ankle, maybe he slides to number 12 and Orlando solidifies much of their frontcourt defensive issues today.

If Orlando resigns Harris, what do you all think of a Payton/Oladipo/Harris/Favors/Vucevic starting five?

I also saw this but really? Remember when the Jazz had Big Al, Millsap, Favors and Kanter and we all thought this is going to be a nasty frontline?

Seems like a million years ago and I’m not exactly a fan of Favors (turns just 24 in July) but his 3 year left for 35 million is a good bargain and I highly doubt 30 year old Millsap is going to be cheaper after his very good stint in Atlanta and after beeing an All Star twice.

I don’t know if that’s the right way to put the Jazz back into the playoff picture. If the money wouldn’t be an issue for me I would do it but this is not going to come cheap for the Jazz. And if Aldridge leaves and teams like Boston, LA or the Knicks don’t get any big names in the frontcourt in free agency better prepare for some major offers in Millsaps direction.

i don’t see this happening. They let Milsap walk in favor of Favots and I believe they want to keep the Favors and Gobert combo. I know I do

As much as I’d like the # 5 pick… I would rather have Favors. I don’t want to see him go.

I felt that same way before and after acquiring Deron Williams from you all.

As a Jazz fan I don’t see that happening, I like Milsap but one of the problems was that he was undersized and couldn’t guard some of the top PF’s he had to go against in the playoffs.. Favors is improving and can guard pretty much any PF in the league, Paul’s ability to hit the 3 is a big plus but not enough to let Favors go or trade him. I hope the Jazz can get a stretch 4 / 5 in the draft. Turner or Lyles would do fine for me.
