I looked all over the Internet, and I still couldn’t find any stats of his since the first game. All I could find was Euro Basket, but I am not a member. Can someone please try and find some stats of his, cause I think we are all curious to know how he is faring there.

The team is 1-1 playing Mons, a team from Belgium. On Eurobasket, you need to pay to look at individual profiles, but stats and that type of stuff can be found by looking up teams.

dang, thats looks rinky dink. The gym looks like a highschool gym with no seating around 3/4’s of the court. The refs are just wearing regular clothing and dont even match each other. Its like they just grabbed 2 guys out of the stands to call the game.

I seriously think the Nets would regret getting Deron Williams.  They don’t have enough talent on the team to keep him unless they overpay him a lot and he would probably turn into a serious cap killer (like Arenas) in a few years.

Euro basketball is very different from the NBA.  I am not surprised that Deron Williams struggle so much.

There’s no defensive 3 seconds in Euro basketball, and most big man would stay under the basket, making it very hard for Deron to score inside.  Also, there’s no handcheck rule, so the guards would be much rougher when they defend.  It’s probably would take a few months for Deron Williams to get used to the harass and abuse before he can turn the corner.  By then, NBA season may start already.

Besiktas lost the series to Mons, which was a two game series for Eurocup qualifying, so Besiktas is out of Eurocup and relegated to the third tied Eurochallenge.

 

The Turkish league first games start in a week (15th).
