As soon as tomorow or on monday. I mean they did need a back up point and I think he’s going to be a great addition to the Cavs bench. He still avg 13 and 7, and playing with Lebron will only benefit him, they also played in the olympics 2 times together. He’s going to be another solid vet added to the Cavs. We saw how important the addition of Frye and Jefferson was to the Cavs last year and I think this is a similar type of pickup. What do you guys think about this move for the Cavs?

The Cavs are also pushing to get Bogut along with the Spurs and Rockets, Warriors are in play but it was reported that they’d rather have Calderon. the Cavs would have to waive someone but if they added Bogut and Dwill to their bench, and if everyone is healthy come playoff time, I think their depth would be simply too much for Golden State really.

And the rich get richer… I’m sick of ‘super’ teams.

I wouldn’t mind Warriors-Cavs Part 3 but after this year I wanna see something different.  We could see the third Celtics-Rockets Finals or something.

Thunder, Pelicans, Wizards, Jazz, Raptors, and Clippers at least getting to the Finals would be a breath of fresh air.

Watching a possible Cavs-Warriors 4peat in 2018? Meh. Count me out. I don’t even care if they form another super team with the Lakers, add another superstar in New Orleans, and get IT even more help in Boston (along with the Nets pick). We need new blood at the top of the league.  Although I think the Cavs’ championship window closes sooner rather than later.  I wouldn’t even mind another LeBron title against Kawhi Leonard and the Spurs in 3 or 4 years.  But we at least need a wild card team in the Finals by next season.

I think the Celtics are really close and are the next team to be a "super team"…I’m fairly confident they will add Hayward this offseason and they will probably end up drafting fultz.. you add that to their core along with the development of jaylon Brown. They could be a problem for lebron.

I wouldn’t have minded having him orcherstrate our bench for 10-15 mins per game it could have maybe been that last piece we needed to get us into that contender status again(if he could stay healthy)..

But I can understand why he went there:

Easy path to a ring and he gets to play with Korver(who he was tight with in Utah)

At least he isn’t going to GSW

The only issue is this will there be minutes for everyone come playoffs…

Williams is a fantastic add for the Cavs and gives them another ball carrying option and helps them spread the play. He’s still a decent NBA starter so can play good minutes if needed, plus by signing him, the Cavs stop him strengthening any of their main opponents. It gives Deron a shot at a title too which he’ll appreciate.

Hoping D-Will is on shape, last time he played looked very out of shape.

Think D-Will could have lasted in an excellent shape, he would still be a contender for top 10 PG, as he is nearly the same age of CP·3

D-Will has always been a bulky type of guy and has no doubt lost a yard from his younger days but if he keeps himself in reasonable shape he can still be a decent NBA player. He has a good basketball IQ and a lot of pass first PGs often play their best ball at the age D-Will is now.

excellent scoop up for the Cavs. Add in Bogut and its a great matchup in the finals against the Ws.
