This a be a good deal for both team.

Nets have a window which is closing rapidly ,no chemistry  ,they have nothing to lose. Houston has nothing to lose either but they never imagine they would have Harden and Howard that’s why the jumped on the asik and lin posin pill deals. Deron excels in systems. Brooklyn needs a shot in the arm and a center.

Right now their best trade chip is IMO Paul pierce…they should try to ship him to a contender and get a pick out of it

This trade rumor was all over on twitter yesterday. Nothing but preliminary talks with no traction.

Yeah I heard about it today. its not that bad a deal the nets have d will now and are getting nothing accomplished now they also need a center lopez is out for a year the own no picks. the rockets are  not moving parson  period hes to valuable contract wise and team wise but they do have dontas  and a GANG OF SECOND ROUND PICKS and the owe their own first rounders.

the deal is off the bases their stuck and the owner promised a championship in 5 years they gave their future and cap flexibility away for now so something has to give I like the idea.

They paid deron williams to be the franchise center piece, they arent going to trade him now, especially not for an average center like omer asik, lin, and a late round draft pick

I wouldn’t mind that.  Williams is definitely an upgrade over Lin and it’s not like Asik plays anyway.

Won’t happen though, I don’t know why the Nets would ever do this.

The Nets do it because they need to rebuild and Center is the hardest position to fill. I dont think its a bad trade for either team just much better for the Rockets.
