ItsVictorOladipoParticipantApparently there is interest from both Deng and LAC on working out a sign and trade agreement. This would be a great fit IMO, Deng is a battle tested vet, plays both ways and can really upgrade the wing for the Clippers.
I’m not sure what the Clippers really have to offer Cleveland that they would want, Bullock, Dudley, Barnes, don’t seem worth it exactly especially if the Cavs would just rather have the salary cap room.
If this happens the Clips could have one of the best starting fives in the league but their bench which was so great last year will have taken a pretty big hit, especially if they include Crawford in the S&T package.

SwatLakeCityParticipantThis means that the Clippers have given up on signing and trading for Pierce. They are now looking to do the same thing but to get Deng. Deng might even be a better compliment to the Clippers than Pierce would have been. I’m curious, does the Cavs being interested in doing this mean that Hayward isn’t going to the Cavs? If the Cavs get Dudley and Bullock for Deng, then I don’t they’d have enough money to sign Hayward to an offer sheet. Jazz fans rejoice, Hayward is coming back.
