blackflash234ParticipantI think that DeMarcus Cousins rebounding rating needs to be a 10 out of 10 because the man averages 10 boards in just 21.3 minutes. Scouts may say that he lacks the heart to grab rebounds but anybody that can rebounds at he rate he rebounds means that he can rebound period. I think it’s time that we see DeMarcus Cousins move pass Cole Aldrich in the mock draft don’t you think?

Prospect21ParticipantPeople will fall in love with Montiejunas.
Cousins reminds me of Moses Malone in terms of Rebounding. He should be a top 5 pick because of that alone. I believe he might go in the 5-10 range.

GrandmamaParticipantWhen this kid turns into Eddy Curry all of you will be shaking your heads wondering why….There are guys Cousins size all across the NBA and if you watch Kentucky’s games you’ll notice a lot of his boards are on smaller opponents who lack the size or skill to rebound with someone 6’11” 270lbs. He could end up being a great pro, but if he doesn’t put in enough work he will be Eddy Curry II.

Adi JosephMoses Malone? Are you kidding me? Don’t make comparisons if you haven’t seen someone play. Moses was far more athletic and better at positioning himself.
Cousins scores and rebounds because he hogs the lane. He rarely even jumps for rebounds.

joecheck88ParticipantWho do you guys think will be the better NBA player, Demarcus Cousins or Daniel Orton?
They are both great freshman bigmen. If demarcus could jump he would be the number 1 pick. Say what you want about him, he is impressive and is helping his stock.

Henry25ParticipantMoses wasn’t that much of a better athlete than Demarcus to be completely honest. I actually really like that comparison. Demarcus just needs to get himself into some better condition

lalailaParticipantYes..his rating should be around 100 all in all
1.Wall
2.Turner
3.Cousins IMO0 - Posted on: Mon, 02/08/2010 - 9:06am #253887
quinceyhodgescompared to moses?..thats a horrible comparison. moses was a straight animal in hs and the nba. whats comparable about them? they both are black thats about it. i never saw him live but i watched plenty of tape that my father had and they arent comparable. moses playing now would eat him alive. that was a slap in the face to moses. and no lalaila his rating nor anyone elses shoul dbe 100. 100 should go to players like durant, beasley, duncan shaq as far as college. guys who are straight dominate not just really good

lalailaParticipantWhy not Blake had 106, Rose 104, at the of the season Wall will be in the same range..and don’t forget that his very solid 16-10-2 isn’t typical 16-10-2..his PT is 21mpg!Man 21 minutes! that’s scary i believe he would be 22-12-3 easily if his PT would be over 30. He is not that far away statistically from being that “dominant freshman”

quinceyhodgesi didnt agree with 106 or rose 104 either. maybe because i view 100 as a shaq, lebron, duncan type. and although the 21 thing is impressive i dont put great stock in it. look at a player who puts up 8ppg in lets say 10min?…you could say in 40min he would lead the ncaa in scoring. you cant put full stock in it because its a guess. no one knows if the guy can play at that high of a level for 40min a more accurate way is to see what he produced when he played 30 or more minutes and average it out. look at ed davis last year as an example. im sure if you went by his minutes and did it by 30-40 his numbers would have been out of this world. lets not get carried away like some of ya’ll do. if duncan shaq lebron were 100 does that mean cousins is still 100 as well in youre opinion?
