Robb_CParticipantRj Hunter and Steph Curry shouldn’t be in any conversations together right now.

BleedGreen808ParticipantCome on man I like Hunter’s game and shot. It looks so smooth going through the net but he’s nowhere near Steph Curry shooting the ball. He shot poor percentages during summer league and will need to be efficient in the regular season. But to answer your question I’d say either Steph or Jamal Crawford with the deepest range.

T RexRJ probably shot 50%+ from outside of 25 feet this summer. Because those shots are open and unexpected.
Having somebody like RJ Hunter or Curry on your team really makes a big difference.
Having a Jordan Mickey or an Anthony Davis is also good, because every team needs an elite shot blocker.
And then if you have a Terry Rozier or a Russell Westbrook type (with better defense, like Rozier), you’re really set up well to contend year in and year out.

ZachAttackParticipantSo, you’re comparing RJ Hunter to Steph Curry, Jordan Mickey to Anthony Davis, and Terry Rozier to Russell Westbrook? Well, if that’s the case I expect them to blow the Cavs, Bulls, and anybody else out of the water. Celtics for the Championship in 2016? No… not in a million years. You all saw it here first! Celtics will not win the 2016 NBA Finals

ZachAttackParticipantIn case you didn’t read in an earlier post… I’m going into 11th grade. I skipped 2 grades. Not to brag or nothing but based on the intelligence of your posts and my posts I’m probably smarter than you. So until you got some cred (or anything for that matter), back off.

ZachAttackParticipantYou don’t need to get so butt-hurt about that comment… I mean you’re sounding like you’re 12, (bedhead reference). Come on… I was trying to explain that you can’t put me lower than you because I’m 14. Besides, I’m pretty sure that my reputation on this site is better than yours so don’t get so offended about a little comment

Captain LParticipantIn answer to your question I’d take Curry but there are several others that I would take over Hunter also, Korver, Durrant, Jimmer, Bryant, Thompson, Harden, and I’m sure there are several others that have as good or better range.

nill650Participantduh c’mon y’all its Lebron James all day long…although he doe’snt need it and the % is too low for any of these guys . but if you took half court jumpers for 4 points Lebron would make more of them than these scrawny guards.

sitlbitoParticipantBecause if you don’t follow basketball, and just read this forum and TRex you’d think that the Boston Celtics are the best team of all time. Except they’re not a 0.500 team. And maybe also because he just compared a 28th pick to an the Mvp of the season?

T RexThis Celtics team is 24-12 since it was put together.
Did you really just compare us to a sub .500 team?
Even after David Lee and Amir Johnson?
Rozier, RJ Hunter, and Jordan Mickey ring a bell?
I didn’t even mention Jonathan Holmes, in a battle with Perry Jones for the highly coveted 15th roster spot.
Even our roster cuts are rotation level players.

OhCanada-ParticipantTerry Rozier, Jordan Mickey and RJ Hunter are all fringe NBA players with great role player potential. Hopefully they get a chance to shine but Boston is just stockpiling assets to make an offer to potentially acquire a star player like a Melo, or Cousins or whichever superstar hits the tradeblock the fastest. All three of those players will likely spend time in the D-League this year.

T RexThey’re all ready to step in and contribute from Day 1.
We have like 7 young players ready to break out as border-line stars. Smart, Evan Turner, Jae Crowder, Olynyk, Avery Bradley if he spent the summer working on his dribble drives, Tyler Zeller, who got better all year, Sully.
Then we have IT4 who is underrated, and could put up numbers like Irving or Lillard this year. David Lee is highly motivated to show he’s still border-line All Star level after losing his job to a max contract player in Draymond Green. Amir Johnson is good for at least 20-25 minutes of good defense, and offensively he’ll have the lane to himself in Boston.
This team is going to steam-roll the East in the regular season. We’ll see how the post-season goes.
But the season is a marathon, and the Celtics can sprint for 48 minutes all year.
Just watch.
