DeAndre Daniels heading to Australia ?

Reports say that DeAndre Daniels is heading to Perth,Australia.Some aussies are on this site and i would like them to compare their competition with the D-league.James Ennis looked great in SL but it’s a one guy sample returning from "down under".
I’d like to read your thoughts about stashing young english speaking players.
D-league,Europe,China,Australia or else ?

Austalia would probably be better just from a comfortability aspect for young players just because there is no language barrier. The basketball there isn’t nearly the quality of the top leagues in Europe but he would probably get a chance to shine their and get meaningful pt.

Hopefully he’ll be joining my team, the Perth Wildcats.
The competition level is pretty good here, players play a physical brand of basketball and Ennis had to work hard once people figured out his tendencies.
Also Sam Young played here last season and Jonny Flynn was here a while ago, so there’s no shortage of talent.
Also, we just got rid of hand-checking, so its getting closer to the NBA system.
I’m friends with the media person for the team but she hasn’t been able to confirm or deny anything yet, so fingers crossed.

  The Toronto Raptors won’t have time to develop him this year as there focus will be on developing Bruno.
  He would be able to get a whole heap of playing time on the top team in the Aussie league.

There are alot of positives.
No langauge barrier like in European Leagues. Guys in the NBA that come in with a langauge barrier usually take 2 or 3 years to learn the langauge and then be comfortable with the langauge. So for immediate development it makes more sense.
There are some boarderline NBA talents in the Aussie league but there is also a looser system similar to the NBA and a tighter system then the D-League.
With Daniels Id rather see him in the Chinese league or the Australian league so he can turn into an alpha dog and build his confidence around success against lesser talent. Thats what the D-League is supposed to be for but that league has no structure so to dominate you have to be a little bit selfish. They dont want Daniels to build his confidence outside of a structured system.
Daniels is not a raw prospect like Caboclo. If Caboclo was going overseas I would want him to go to the ACB or to a top Euroleague team like an Adriatic team or Russian team to learn structure. Daniels has proven he can thrive within a structure and nail his role by winning a NCAA Championship so allowing him to thrive in Perth would be smart.
He has NBA level skills but cannot play at that physical of a level yet. He needs to seriously work on his body before he touches an NBA court and will get some time to do that.
Daniels has a very interesting skillset and quite a bit of talent. American players with his talent rarely get stashed. It would be interesting to see how he develops.
