Im Your FatherParticipantIt’s looking very likely that he will end up at Duke. I have watched highlights of him and he seems to have a very nice handle to go along with a pure jump shot. I have seen comparisons to Kevin Durant thrown around, although that seems farfetched at this point. Can anyone who’s actually seen him play tell me what they think of him and who they would compare him to?

PaulsJayhawksParticipantWhile Duke is in the mix and probably the leader he seems to change his mind every couple of months. Ku is still very much in the mix as I think he may be waiting to see if the morris twins go pro, not to mention his best friend walked on to KU. Sketchy ploy yes I admit it. Texas had him lost him thought they had him back. Kentucky also thought he was in the bag. I think he likes the press hence the switching and wants to be "the guy". Tough at Duke with Rivers coming in. All be it tough at KU to be the man as they play more of a system "see Josh Selby".
He’s definatly more of a 3 with the college size of 4. Not sure who to compare him to, to be honest.

Im Your FatherParticipantOh, I agree, it isn’t a done deal by any means. The Duke insiders are getting more and more confident though.

Cardinal_FanParticipantI think Dukes a lock, Texas has Jordan Hamilton, Kansas has McLemore and also Releford that could play the 3. At Duke with the graduation of Singler an the fact that i dont see them starting 3 guards…. although they could possibly slide Dawkins in2 that 3 spot, but with his size an skills i think Daniels could beat him out imo.

The lake show2This is the one player who i can agree with as far as the Durant comparisons (poor mans but not very poor). I taked about him along with grant jerrett two sumers ago after they played on the Belmont shore aau team with my nephew. He was a straight gunner bu he was good. Deep jumper and nice handles, very skinny but very long as well. Plays with a lot of confidence but needs to learn to become more of a team player

Ghost01Participant@ lakeshow, werent there fools on here comparing Anthony Davis to Durant the other night? wtf? I like this kid, hope Duke gets him cuz they need him. I dont know if i could imagine coach k starting 3 freshies.

The lake show2Exactly. Neither is Durant but Daniels game is alot more close to Durants than Davis game is. He very long, very good handles, nice cross over, has a scores mentality and will take it coast to coast very often no matter the competition, and has deep range on his jumper. He’s not the rebounder urant was at the same stage though and his juper isn’t as pure athough he is good jump shooter

Ghost01ParticipantRight. Daniels may not be as good as Durant but at least he plays similar to him. Davis is entirely different.

Ricky BobbyParticipantK will start whoever gives him the best chance to win. In my opinion he would have to start Daniels. He’s to big and too good offensively to not start

Ghost01ParticipantHe would have to start Daniels, for sure. He would be there only legit 3. Gibonge (spelling) and Hairston arent even close to as good as him. Im thinking Cook is the guy that isnt a lock to start, but i doubt he would play Rivers or Curry at the 1 with a legit PG sitting there. 3 freshies on Duke just seems….wrong lol. maybe hes turning into Coach Kalipari.
