At first I really thought that the Lotto was not fixed at all when we did not get the #1 to select Wall last year.

Stern really felt sorry for both Cleveland & Utah for the LeBron & DWill incidents. He also had to of felt for Dan Gilbert’s son.

"Ummmmm, since LeBron & DWill did them dirtball hmmmmm……Cleveland you’re #1 Utah you’re #3"-David Stern

Kyrie will not save Cleveland, especially by himself if he gets Kanter to team up with him it could be trouble, but I just don’t see him turning the franchise around without a bigman.

Cleveland gets 2 1st plus they still have a TPE they havent used imagine

    Draft- Irving and Kanter

    TPE- Igoudala

    FA MLE- JR Smith

    Starting 5 Next Year

Irving-Smith-Igoudala-Hickson-Kanter that would be sick going forward maybe upgrading at the 4 and 2 sending Smith and Hickson as key reserves off the bench

The Cavs still have Anderson Varejao at center to go along with Hickson at PF.

I can see them bypassing Irving as they have currently have NBA veteran BDiddy at the point plus 2012 will be a very pg deep draft and potentially taking DWill #1 overall to play SF next to Varejao & Hickson.

Minnesota doesn’t really need another pg  and neither does Utah (DHarris) so Irving could slip to #4 for the Cavs as well. I can see either one of these teams taking Kanter (if his knees check out) at #2 or #3 but there is no telling what Minnesota might do- Biyombo?

Gilbert has stated that the Cavs will use their TPE (16 million?) as well to add to their overall roster talent- AI or RGay?

      Varejao

      Hickson

      DWill

      AI

      Davis

You’re really reaching. As a rebuttal, I could say that this is proof that the lottery is not fixed because the Kings didn’t get a top-3 pick and I would be on standing on exactly the same ground as you.

You don’t want a Gameboy. The government reads your mind through those things. They record your secrets and sell them to the terrorists for oil.

And if the Jazz pick Leonard with the 3rd pick Jazz fans will burn things…they may have to go after Williams if he is available, if they have a legitimately shot at pairing him up with another lottery pick and Derrick Favors they take it…another guy I see fitting in is Vessely…he and Favors would be an athleticly gifted combo at Sf and Pf…maybe they trade Jefferson for the 4th overall pick and draft Kanter as well…imagine they draft Vessely at 3, trade Jefferson to Cleveland for Kanter, and then round out their draft with Jimmer at 12…they would still be a Sg short of being complete but they’d have a solid core going forward…

Im just hoping Valanciunas can be a pleseant surpr fo the Toronto Raptors. At least he is a committed defensive player, and committed to the C position unlike Kanter…here I go trying to find positive in the situation…Make room for harrison Barnes maybe next year the NBA Wizard blesses us.

This could turn into a positive. If Toronto tanks next year and gets a Top 5 lotto chance, maybe they move up and get the "bad luck" out of the way. More likely to happen though is Toronto earns the 10th-14th pick in next years draft and doesnt even have this problem…sigh why do I care.

Funny, because I compared him to Eddie Davis the first time I watched him play in a full game.

They’re both thin, active, long, athletic, while possessing a good touch around the rim. Valanciunas is a better free-throw shooter, but Davis has better post moves and shot-blocking instincts.

If you don’t want Valanciunas who resembles a player already on your team, there is always Motiejunas… I thi– Oh, wait…

How would you feel about Brandon Knight or Kemba Walker?

I hear you on that one except for the fact that I would love two Eddy Davis’s on the team. Beautiful thing about Eddy Davis and Jonas Valanciunas is how raw they both are, how defensiively active, and well they rebound. They also have alot of offensive upside and ValanciKilmers 70 percent from the field and 90 percent from FT suggests some developed midrange game. At this point I think they would be fine teammates, and with Toronto’s pretty good develepment staff they could make it work.

Toronto needs to fill holes in my opinion. I dont feel as if they have a hole at PG, I dont feel like Knight or Walker is really better then Bayless or even has as much upside as him. I like what I saw from Jerryd to close out the Season, not only that but he seems like the true leader of this Raptors team. I hope he gets a chance to solidify himself as an NBA starter, and maybe he plays that way throughout the whole season.

My proposal is too trade Bargnani for next to nothing and draft Valanciunas. Then start either Jonas an inexperienced rookie, or start Johnson and Davis and just let the tank roll on through to the next draft.

I wouldn’t even know what to think of that. The only precedence that I can think of is the ill-fated Cedric Simmons/Hilton Armstrong duo.

I guess I could see it working though, especially if Valanciunas doesn’t come over right-away. That way they wouldn’t be competing with each other for playing time. Both could blossom into fine offensive players, with excellent size and defense to boot.

Maybe Bargnani can get you another wingman and not the scraps your asking for Oh Canada…but u can’t completely over look Knight/Walker/Burks because you have Bayless and Derozen…you have to keep your options open and draft the best player for your team…if that guy is a Pg, Sg or Sf you have to take him, we get crazy with our hatred for certain players, people in Philadelphia want to trade Iggy for a bag of gabage too but they’re not really thinking rationally…I always like Bargnani but he needs a true center and supporting cast…maybe they get the C of the future or the Sf they need, I like Vessely or Valenceunas for the Raps, partly because I too add a lot of faith in Bayless, but if they do draft Pg, maybe Bayless and Bargs get you the Big man or wing of your dreams…
