thetruthParticipantsince he got here. first of all he didnt bring back kevin mchale who said he wanted to come back but was never offered a contract. and the whole team wanted him back and they were playing well with him until al jefferson tore his acl. then he traded mike miller a sharpshooter , and the late bloomer foyle for etan thomas and some other scrubs. then on draft night he drafted two point guards. he pick up ellington. as well. also he sign ryan hollins who is talented but too small to bang down low and help big al.he also traded a good big man in smith. who i thought was a nice complement to big al. now he has sign sessions another pg. i think sessions is a good player and all. but he is not what they need. they need to upgrade the two and four. and adding sessions will stunt flynn growth. he also hire rambis over mark jackson who i think is just what this team need. i think the wolves would be better off with holiberg as the gm or someone else then kahn. who doesnt seem know how to build a team.

d-grizzlyParticipanti think rubio’s rights will be traded for some nice talent, if minnesota successfuly gets sessions.

llperezI agree. Kahn better know what he’s doing because trading Foye and Miller so he could draft 2 pgs and then sign another one in free agency doesn’t look too smart. but I honestly think Hollins can help. He showed signs with Dallas last year, and he seems like the perfect compliment to Jefferson and Love. He is a athletic 7 footer who can run and block shots. I’m thinking Minnesota and Sacramento will battle out for crappiest team in the west. I’m pulling for Rambis though.

No Kahn=Yes0 - Posted on: Fri, 09/04/2009 - 3:37pm #209988

esperanzafleet69Participantdid u just referr to randy foye as foyle???? that there tells me u shouldnt have posted this in the first place….
sessions will probably be BETTER than flynn, true he should have picked up some1 other than flynn in the draft if he was gettin rubio second….
also id take rambis ANY DAY over mark jackson…. rambis will make them into a run and gun team and with a good pg like sessions (or flynn), big al, and kevin love on the team they should be getting a LOT of shots off and wiping that glass clean man…. i understand every move kahn has done and i can basically agree with everything hes done… watch him transform Minnesota back into a playoff team… maybe not this year but soon.. i guarentee that..

SupParticipantGo where? He took a chance in a weak draft, wake up. Thabeet was picked 2nd and he wont even start (so it seems.) They were hit hard when Garnett left…they are smart to plan for the future as opposed to the moronic teams tryna beat the Lakers tommorrow.

llperezHonestly, it’s way too early to tell. GM’s need a while to work their magic. I would love to be a gm. I honestly think I could run a team better then some of these guys.

RUDEBOYKEEP KAHN..HE SEEMS LIKE HE’S A FAN OF THE GAME ALSO….FLYNN WILL SURPRISE A FEW PEOPLE THIS YEAR..I THINK HE SHOULD START FROM DAY 1..SESSIONS IS AND ALWAYS WILL BE A RESERVE…COREY BREWER IS OVERRATED THEY NEED A SHOOTING GUARD

IndianaBasketballParticipantI don’t known about Kahn. There are a lot of people trying to make sense of what he’s doing, but can’t. I say keep him though. It’s still early and he must have some sort of plan.

marcusfizer21ParticipantSo far David Kahn has been unimpressive IMO… He’s been trying to “impress” Minnesota fans of the deals he is making but I am not sure if they buy it… Getting Sessions is not something I expect from him but he continues to make bold moves again and again… He failed with the “Getting Ricky Rubio out of Spain” agenda and he decided to go with Sessions… Plan A to Plan B… I am not sure what to say right now, I don’t think I want him out but then again, I don’t think he can stay GM for long… All I can tell you is that he is not impressive…

mikeyvthedonParticipantFrom all that I here, and I do know people that have worked with him closely, he is no genius Q-Haynes. I am definitely a Kahn sceptic at this point and feel that he has made some extremely strange moves as Timberwolves GM. I do not understand the signing of Sessions and I still think the drafting of both Flynn/Rubio makes even less sense with this signing. They also have Wayne Ellington as their best shooter right now, which honestly does not bode well for their team. I think they will struggle, especially on defense and that his 2 year plan to turn the team around seems to be a gigantic stretch at this point in his career, where he appears to be the major loser of the off-season. That being said, the Bucks might still match the Sessions offer and either way, I do not see the move being a positive one for their team which has gigantic holes on the wing and a couple of stud offensive posts who give up as many points as they produce.

McWinningParticipanti have mixed feelings about him. hes added talent but hes not filling theirv needs, they have a huge weakness thaat needs to be filled at small forward, and shooting guard, i like his effort though and dont think he should be fired.

td8118Participantdude has no clear vision on what he wants to do with the team….Rubio Curry would have been fine to pick…Now even when they trade Rubio theyll still have two PGs
