steviechillzParticipantSaric is definitely showing us something in this year’s Olympics. So far, he has been exactly what has been advertised: Long hybrid-forward who is a gifted-passer and is excellent from mid-range. Things to worry about are his turnovers(but that is going to happen when you are young and sometimes going for the home-run play a little too much) and the way he shoots: he kind of fadeaways when he rises up…really similar to early John Wall jumpshots.
But the shooting is definitely something you can work on and the turnovers will go down as his career progresses, but if I am a 76ers fan, I am real excited about Saric. I see no reason he couldn’t play the three, which is extremely important for the 76ers this year due to their frontcourt logjam. Very impressed. Definitely could see the 76ers winning 28-30 games this year, and that is quite the improvement from 10 games last year

markfitz14ParticipantHe had a tremendous block on Pau Gasol which was with time expiring. Stupid URL won’t let me paste the link in. I really like that he has a fire/motor that he wants to make a block.

McDunkinHe’s like an even more skilled pre-bobcats/McDonalds Boris Diaw

HitsterParticipantI’m looking forward to see Saric playing in the NBA, Philly clearly rate him very highly as they haven’t tried to cash in on his cap friendly salary to add depth in other positions. Philly have a well known frontcourt jam so if Saric can play other positions apart from PF it would be a big help.
He does look a very good passer which will be a big help to Simmons if the later is the main ball carrier as it will help to spread play.
If Saric had been coming to the NBA the year he was drafted he’d have likely been a clear top 10 pick. If he’d waited until this year when he would have been automatically eligible he’d have been a clear top 5 pick I think.
He looks the sort of guy who can come in and play 20 minutes per game from day one and probably more if required. He may not be a stats filler but I think he can easily have a decade long NBA career as an excellent intangibles player who can play major minutes as a starter or top bench guy.

The Scare Crow RisesParticipantHe’s always been a better player/prospect than Porzingas who hit the ground running with half the fire that Dario brings
I honestly think he’s a consistant 3 point shot away from being a Star, but lets just assume he’s a solid 6th Man/Starter for the next 10 years, that is great value with the 10th overall pick (One that wasn’t available until Hinkie traded Jrue Holiday for Noel and a 1st round pick via New Orleans)

OhCanada-ParticipantHe’s a much better defender than he gets credit for. He may have a few physical limitations but he competes way harder than your average player which more than compensates for his limitations.
