Saw that dante exum started tonight was wondering if burke is in trouble or is Exum becoming a starter. If so, I am thrilled that he is finally starting.

I saw that too, but on Jazz sites no one seems to have an inside scoop. Burke’s play has left much to be desired in general and Exum seems like the future at the 1, so I’m glad to see him start. However, Burke got some decent burn off the bench and I saw no evidence of him being upset or pouty about playing a reserve role. He handled it like a pro.

Even though Exum has some growing to do, he was better and more efficient than Burke on both sides of the ball tonight. I’d like to see this role reversal continue.

After watching Tyrone Corbin bench all their young prospects for years management is probably pushing Snyder to throw the young guys into the fire a little bit more. Tonight was a bit of an anamoly for Exum, he’s not going to hit 5 threes in a game very often. Encouraging to see him hit the outside shot though.

I am sure Exum will have many up and down games, but in his first start going 5-10 from 3 is encouraging.

I actually like the move myself , after watching burke for the past month I have been displeased. He just looks out of place and dont really have the chemistry with favors or kanters. Exum has the chemistry with them and reminds me of mike conley ( in regarding his pace of game getting everyone involved)

Dante certainly had a good game and made some shots early. Trey came in and gave us a good punch off the bench and defended well," Snyder told the Deseret News. “It’s something we’ve been looking at for a little while. We’ve had trouble scoring with our second unit coming off the bench. I think Trey gives us a little more pop in that respect. I also think as Dante grows as a player, him being able to get with that first group, particularly with Gordon Hayward to help him handle the ball and relax. That’s the thought behind it."

They might as well turn it up a bit for Dante now and see what he can do. He has the much brighter future than Burke, even though I still like Burke too.
