I like both players a lot, but wonder what is the difference between the two? Why Daniels is so much higher in all mocks?

I think Daniels will go Top 10 and Terry is likely late 1st to early 2nd, but I actually think Terry will be a better pro. To answer your question they are very similar players as being skilled point wings that work hard and will initially impact their teams with their playmaking and defense with hopes they become better scorers. I think Daniels is seen to have more upside and Terry is seen to be a better defender.

I think Terry has quietly moved up boards and will be selected in the top 20. Although I don’t think he has shown the abillity to play as a lead guard like Daniels has which leaves Daniels as the more intriguing option.

Daniels is a big head scratcher to me. He is missing a swing skill badly. It’s his shooting. If Daniels can shoot better then Daniels is better. If I’m a GM that wants the more ready prospect, I’d actually take Dalen Terry. I don’t get the hype around Daniels though. Terry is a half year older but also more seasoned. Daniels is slightly longer too, but just a hair. If Terry was my guy, however I would trade down to land Terry.

Dyson= Shawn Livingston, Lonzo Ball, Patrick McCaw, Troy Brown Jr., Exum, Haliburton, Penny Hardaway, Evan Turner, Satoransky, Tony Allen…………
Terry= same comps/ better 3pt/ hopefully a riser on draftboards
Both look like solid NBA player . Both do very well in Interviews. Both could develop into modern oversize PG. Both could develop into needfull complimentary Wing player. Both need a year or two of to be realy NBA ready. Dyson is ranked higher because of bis rising Star Performance, his age, bis path, slightly his ceiling

I think Dyson Daniels is like Evan Turner and Dalen Terry is like Andre Iguodala if we are throwing out comps.

Daniels improved his 3pt shot as the season went on in the G League. As he got more and more comfortable playing against grown men, his shooting came along. He was almost the youngest player to post a triple double, just missed out by 2ast iirc. I know I probably sound a bit homerish, but I think he’s a really good prospect. I think out of the two big Aussie PG’s, Giddey has a higher ceiling, but Daniels has a higher floor, based mainly on his defensive potential.
